Perhaps they should turn the tables, everyone begins as a Jedi and then need to get a normal profession the same way Jedi is aquired today (throught the village phases).

What would a cap on Jedi really mean, Im guessing you were one of the first 10 on your server?
In this system, it would mean that those 10 Jedi wouldn't take very long to get all the +25 tapes they need to have a full suit of mods.
In this system, with Jedi vs BH being "1-1" with no TEF activity, those 10 Jedi would be walking pay cheques, or hiding pay cheques, They wouldn't be able to go out in public because 1 in 5 BHs are holding their mission just waiting to see them.
BH would be a profession to complain about "Im sick of going after the same s, I killthem everyday and thereshe isagain. ARGH!"

I just don't get it, complaining for the sake of complaining? The only real thing special about Jedi is how HARD it is to get one. Period. Almost every profession, esspeicaly ones with Master Level Weapons that don't have elemental, all do more dmg than Jedi. With a stack of bliels and good stims, and nicely timed snares and roots, You can be far more powerful than any Jedi. When it comes down to it, if they ever fix commando, all the Rs will have a new flamebait.

This game was seriously soooooo much better before the Jedi infestation. Jesus I remember when everyone went holo crazy and I though nah they will never make it easier for people to become jedi. But them wham they up and did it. All the Jedi proff has done is take time and energy away from professions that have been in a perpetual state of disarray some of them from launch.
Look at Commando they were awesome for like 5 months then they went and broke em again. Their flamethrower was a bit extreme but they stomped them into the ground.
I don't think Squad Leader ever was useful but then again I haven't played one after the CU.
Smugglers never have had anything to smuggle.
Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths have had at least 4 major bugs continually since launch, and many many minor bugs as well.
DE's well they definitley need to be looked at. I mean they are not just seeker and arakyd droid producers.
They never did balance out pistol/carbine/rifle damage to speed ratios taking into account ranges. And it is only worse with CU since many weps are level based and not certed in their trees.
The list goes on. But instead of a smuggler revamp or a list of many other revamps they could of done to fix their game they decide to fix Jedi. When they break Jedi in a meaningful way they fix em really quickly too. Armorsmiths are still waiting for our factory crate bug and faction armor bug to be fixed and the faction armor bug is game breaking.
