Some of the goods listed are common enough to get a good ideabecause there is little variation. Swoops, Vk, Brandy, etc.
Armor which is highly customizable is different ( is it 70 base with kin protection, kin with energy, maybe with blast, or cold layered)
How about experimentation tapes which vary depending on who is in the market for one at that particular time. A week apart on eclipse a +7 weapon exp tape sold for 18 Million, a +10 tape sold for 12 million.
I think the best standard is resouces. They are the the most basic element of the economy and required for all crafting.
If anyone is really ambitious, there may be a way. Review the trade forums for all galaxies. Find out how much organic and non-organic resourse are going for, based on their stats. There may be enough data there to draw some conclusions.
I considered doing it myself once, but the job was just too daunting.
For Tempest

I'm interested in knowing how much a credit is worth on each server. We can do this by converting down to Universal units. I.E 10k may equal 1 buff etc.
Lets get the following prices for each server and then we can cross reference each one, see how the lower prices are managing to stay low, and then take that information back to our own servers.
I'm looking for the values of these things on your server, averaged out of course.
1 - A Master Doctor Buff - 10-15k
2 - A Heavy Mineral Harvestor / Medium / Small - 130k/50-60k/100-1k
3 - A small house. (Any) - 6-12k
4 - A swoop - 10-25k
5 - 100k of average quality steel (Maybe 700-850 stats Basically good for anything but not uber) - 3-4cpu
6 - Medicine Experimentation +5 CA - 8-12mil
7 - Weapon Experimentation +5 CA - 12-20mil
8 - A top of the line T-21 (Stock)- 20-60k
9 - A power hammer (Stock) - 5-10k(anything over 10k is r@pe)
10 - A VK - 6-10k
11 - A crate of Vasarian Brandy (25) - 80-200k
12 - 2-Handed Melee Speed +5 AA / CA - 4-10mil
13 - A Premium Crystal - 4-10mil
14 - A Krayt Dragon Skull ??
15 - A suit of 70%ish base Composite - 200-450k
16 - A slice - 5k
See if you can get these things and we'll see what happens

Resources would be hard, what may be the best of a resource to spawn on one server may be third or fourth best on another server. That would make a huge difference as far as pricing is concerned. Also what else is going on when the resource spawned...for example, the best axidite iron on the server hit and was followed by the best berylius copper so everyone dumped the iron and went for the copper.

I think that resources are probably the best economic indicators in SWG. They arethe critical element to the economy and widely traded. Yes there are a lot of variables, however the trade forums date all the way back to launch. So you can access every forum trade in every galaxy for the last year and half or so.Resourses have been traded there since launch. There might be enough data on trading ofcommon things such as+1 to +3 skill mods, but otherwise the problem with tracking the sales of other items is lack of data.
I am not sure but that MAY be enough data on resourse sales to average out the figures and account for any variables.
I should also add that if anyone is considering doing this, you should NOT try it unless:
- You have a lot of free time
- You have at least a basic knowledge of statistics. (I took first year stats in poli sci, but it was a long time ago and I don't think I have enough knowledge myself to analysis this data.)
