I think we need to give the have-nots the ability to speak their peace. We cant ignore them forever....there are more of them then there are of us, and they could pull the proverbial rug right out from underneath us if they band together. I for one would like to be able to keep my fortune thank you......lets let them talk.
The 'haves' started with the same thing that anyone else did. Its not like we inhertied our wealth or have special opportunity that others don't. How did people with >15M get there? It wasn't do to a lack of money sinks. It was through time and effort.
If things are too hard for the true beginning player then I'm sure SOE will listen and do something. Like giving them a free speeder as a newb, or giving them 75k credits to start, etc. I can even see reducing some of the money sinks that hit new players more like shuttle tickets (almost obsolete with JTL anyway).
But they won't remove money sinks. Doing so would throw the entire economy out of wack.

Every player starts in the game with exactly the same items. Infact, new players now start with alot more than they used to. No speeders and 2k in the bank anyone?? Running Artisan missions from Bestine to AH?? etc etc
What you do from there on is totally your choice, and is not something that can reasonably be blamed on the ingame economy.
