What I find funny is that I did it the other way around. I had a pure crafter, then got a second account so I could actually enjoy all the game content, since we all know that there is no crafter content outside of crafting.....
same here, both me and my wife are pure crafters so we decided to get another account to share so we can actually see the content.

I've got three accounts, and I think the money is well spent for the advantage I gain. I'd be willing to work with others, but in my experience most people are too unreliable.
Slim Vargo, Corbantis
Ditto -- At times, between me and the boyfriend we've had 5 accounts total ... we've since dropped one and he's stopped playing which means I'm down to 3 -- 2 Crafters, 1 Combat -- Since I'm working full time now though, that may change
And I agree, if you want the skills, spend the skillpoints --Both of my crafters have merchant skills though neither is master
Too much trouble to bother transferring items between toons, especially the tailor that handmakes everything

I worked out my skillpoints so that I can stay level 80, be reasonably effective in combat with squad leader, pistoleer, and some carbines, and then have enough in artisan for a vender. You just have to do some thinking and compromiseing but its not that hard to work out. I'd feel completely wrong being able to take something from artisans without giveing up something els. And remember, they cant just go out into combat or hunt high end npc's for loot like us combat characters can, no need to take away anything more from our crafting neighbors.

I dont think many of us are upset but sure would like to know what you think of our arguments. Has the disucssion gave you pause and realize that in general your idea may not have merit or do you have a rebuttle to the arguments of the artisians.
It definately has caused me to re-evaluate my opinion and I now agree with the majority, my original request was completely wrong.
This would take something away from the crafting professions and it's something that should remain special to artisans and merchants

Huzzah! Pie for you! Someone who can re-evaluate an idea, examine alternative input, and change their mind.....
Hmmn. Kill'em and stuff him and place him in the Museum of the Rare and Unimaginable

Then everyone in the game would have a vendor. Then nobody would actually look any anyone's vendors, because there would be so many.

This is one of the reasons i stay on TC. I get three toons with one account. Saves me $30 more a month and i can play a lot of crafting and still have a combat toon.
