There is someone out there who just one-stars everything and anything for some reason. What they fail to realize is that rampant one-starring causes those stars to have no meaning. I turned mine off simply because they don't matter.

Don't solo the missions.

Find some friends, 6-7 will do, and do the missions together. You'll still earn 60k per run if everyone takes 30k missions and it won't take an awful lot of time to do, since the lairs temselves will go down in an instant. Most time consuming issue is the transport times, but you just get everyone to take missions in the same general direction.

exactly. thats how me and my guild did this back in the day, and we would easily make 150-250k in a hunt session in a day, honestly, i miss this sort of thing, because, well, you needed to properly formulate your group so you all didnt get hosed.

As a weaponsmith on Naritus, I have my prices set very reasonably on all my basicfactory goods. 1,975 for an Adv2h Curved, 3,200 for an AdvVK, 4,100 for an AdvPH, and so on. Even a very low level character can afford to buy a basic weapon with only a few delivery missions. A mid level swordsman can pay for a crate of 5 2h Curved Swords with only 1 picket mission. They were set this way before the solo group nerf, and they're still set the same way. I have yet to see anyone clean out my mall vendor so they can re-sell my goods, so I assume they're not underpriced for the rest of the market.

When it comes to the low end loot enhanced weapons, I price those high enough to cover the cost of loot, and put something back in my pocket. Sell me 5 base Krayt tissues for 100k, then a base Krayt Flame Thrower isn't going to cost less then 125k. If a Hack schematic is going to cost me 400k, and a set of 7 agents & cubes another 200k, then Ihave to sell them at more than 300ka Hack or take a loss. When it comes to the finest enhanced weapons, I auction those. Then the price isn't being set by me, it's set by the market. Again, I'll set my reserve high enough to cover my costs, but I have nothing to do with how high it goes.

Based on what I'm seeing, it's not the average craftsmen that are holding the loot marketprices high. My cash goes out just as fast as it coems in.

Honestly, the only way I enjoy doing group missions is if were going to run un-buffed. Anything else is too easy. When I can hop off my bike and spam SS2 to finish a Rancor lair in 20-30 seconds, what reason does anyone else have for coming with me? Not that Riflemen have a monopoly on rapid mission kills. Any buffed Elite Combat master can make short work of a mission lair.

I'm hoping the CURB will fix all this, but until then elite groups are for Elders, Krayts & Rebel bases. Not missions.

First off, developers don't read these posts, and would a fairly new player (judging by your posts, I may be wrong) change the minds of the developer team after all this time?

Second.

Are you imperial? Run some faction missions, buy an ATST, group with it, and you can pull 33,000 missions. Whenever I really need somthing thats a bit over my spending budget for the week, I go run some of these.

Finaly, Why should you be able to make 33 thousand in 30 seconds? With all the talk of infaltion, I doubt this would help.

When the game first came out, one hundred credits was somthing you didn't disreguard as fast as the newbies of today do. You simply didn't care whether your weapon had 15 more dmg, or armor with 5% more protection, and you Certainly would never pay millions for it.

In closing, solo groups make money to easy to get, and with all the ways to make money without any skills, they are certainly not needed.
