- Giant Canyon and Krayt Ancient Dragons should drop pearls at their normal drop rate
- Nightsisters should drop crystals at their normal drop rate
- Fixed a problem with all high-end loot drop rates
Has this been verified and checked today? Just didn't read a reference to the newest patch in the diatribe.

While i totaly agree with your "uber loot bin" idea, I do not think it applies to pearls and crystals. There could be tons and tons of people out at the graveyard, or there could be no one. Pearls were pretty close to 1 in 4. Same with elders. It didn't matter what time of day, elders were pretty consistent with a 25% drop rate. Same with Nyax. He seemed to be pretty close to 1 in 4. The thing is, tissues, nothing, grenades, and scales seemed to be on a 1 in 4 drop rate as well.
If it is a simple thing like "oops, we deleted the pearl/crystal/nyax loot table" how come it is so hard to fix it? Why are the devs having such a devil of a time, and how come they are putting broken versions of it into test center, then into live? Hmmmm. Sounds like you are missunderestimating them.
Actually, elders were 1 in 10. If you..hrum..."milked" an elder spawn, you would get 1 crystal every 10 elders you killed. Tried tested and true.
2. I killed 7 giant Krayts today. Only tissues and segments were looted.

Ah, I see. Then perhaps the conspiracy theories are all true! Just reading through the "14.0 Issues" thread had 20-30 people so far confirming the non-fixed state of loot...

Ya thats what they said they fixed before. So guess they goofed it up and are going to fix it again or they forgot to fix it the first time?? *shrug* Obviously their internal bug tracking is extremely poor.

Many people will assume its incompetence. I really don't think thats the case at all.
It could easily bedue to beaucracy. Have you seen Office Space or read Dilbert?
