Not a horrible idea, some limits would need to be put in place in order to make sure that the 'loners' and the new people do not get completly screwed.

One thing that I think would have to almost be 100% certain is that if this were put in place, the CEO could not sell anything on any vendor other than one that reports money to the company to pay out on dividends. Otherwise, I see a lot of companies going up and down with in the a week to 'scam' the people donating thier lots.
