It seems ever since the combat upgrade the economy has been terible. B4 the combat upgrade you could basicly find what ever you needed on the bazaar but now it is imposible. In the kettemoor galaxy i checked the other day not a single thing of body armor was being sold on the bazaar in the whole galaxy and other things such as pets and weapons have the same case. Also there is not nearly as much players anymore. B4 the combat upgrade coronet was filled with a massive amount of ppl but now on some servers you are lucky to find 4.

Kettemoor is a smaller galaxy and things have been slower on Kett but the bazaar isn't quite empty..

Well right now theres over 140 armor items including 14 body armor pieces and around 700 weapons galaxy wide on Kettemoor bazaar. I don't see any pet deeds though.

There haven't been that many folks in Coronet. I'm guessing theyr'e mostly on Kash or elsewhere. There are a lot of newbs though lately.

Question for you. How much is the per item fee for the bazaar? Ever since the CU, people have started using the vendor search. Great thing to come around. But, that is why you won't find too much stuff on the bazaar. Because sellers want to save money by placing it on their vendor. Its still VERY accessible from the bazaar, and most shops are by a shuttleport. Saves the seller money, makes the town money (shuttleport), and its easier than going to the bazaar, placing the item on there.

Some people are like slinkies; pretty useless, but still fun to push down the stairs.

Well, for me on the Lowca Galaxy I am havning no problems selling my wind power that I have been harvesting. Making 120k or so every three to four days minus expenses for listing an item. If you are seeing an issue with armour not being listed on the bazaar contact an armoursmith and let them know. I have power listed and everytime someone buys some I send them a thank you mail with a waypoint to my vendor that has a lot of power and 1 to 1.5 cpu resources on it.

The bazaar for me has been awesome to have!

I'm finding quite a few more items than preCU, given the increase to 20k per item listed. Who ever saw swoops and small houses on the bazaar before the increase?

There may indeeed be fewer things list on the bazaar... I know I no longer list anything on the bazaar, but if you look at the galaxy vendor search you will discover that I have over 1k weapons for sale, over 500 droids/droid things(astromechs, BH droids, flight comps, unprogrammed droid chips)So, perhaps there are less things ont he bazaar, because more people, like me, just palce it on their vendor and make it searchable.

I believe it's 20 credits to list something on the bazaar, but remember it costs money to have a vendor also.Something like 16 credits per hour, I think. So unless you are selling more than 20 or so items per day, you really won't save any money having a vendor.I sell far more stuff on the bazaar than I do on my vendor. I even sell it at higher prices on the bazaar than I do at my vendor. I think people are willing to pay for the convenience of the bazaar, or they don't know how to do a vendor search.

Well on Tarquinnas the number of people in Coronet, Theed and the Mining Outpost on Dantooine doesn't seem to have slacked that much - although I am a returning player so perhaps in comparison to pre-CU it has, I wouldn't know. Usually you can spot 10 to 20 people in the Mining Outpost at least - with the inevitable Jedi dueling continuously. Good thing they are hunted and rare eh? Theed and Coronet are also filled with Jedi upon occasion and often buried in spamming sellers and barker droids.

I am a weaponsmith, and I have to say I have never seen the economy so viable. I have tried other crafting professions in the past but either weaponsmith is particularly viable, or the economy is booming. I have sold well over a million in merchandise in the past week, and as I am not a 12pt crafter, I am dealing in low and middle range weapons mostly. 1 million+ in sales is thus probably 60 items or more at least. There is seldom a morning I log in that I haven't sold at least 40k in stuff, and last week I sold over 600k in 2 days alone. Now, my expenses are high as well, since I have to buy the best materials to turn out the best weapons, so I have spent probably half a million during this time period but I am still climbing up. I am still in the whole from when I started weaponsmith mind you, so there is a ways to go still (Sold my BARC for 6 million and used the cash to grind up weaponsmith and get my stock up). I have probably about 2 million in stock on my vendors at the moment.

I keep the bazaar constantly stocked with newbie weapons that sell for 4-7k depending on the weapon and are CL5-14. I sell them only in Mos Eisley although I was selling them in Coronet earlier, the sales are much better with teh new players in ME, so I decided to just sell them there. This represents a slow but steady part of my income, although it will no doubt trickle off in time as those players level up and move to new locations. Right now I sell about 8 or so weapons a day there.

As well, I have 8 vendors deployed both to maximize my merchant experience, but also to maximize my exposure. All my vendors are named with my name ("Jhonto's Ranged Weapons", "Jhonto's Melee Weapons" etc) so that if you view the planetary map and check the vendors>weapons section almost 1/3 or so of the listed vendors are mine - I think this implies I am the best place to go (regardless of whether or not that is true). I am on Tatooine so its not far for new players to shuttle. As well all my vendors are of course searchable. I sometimes give away weapons to newbies as well, asking them to consider buying their next weapon from me in return. I lose 4k that way ostensibly but if they get in the habit of buying from me, they will repay that very quickly with a few purchases.

Having been a MDE in the early months of the game, I have to say that weaponsmith and the new economy is a refreshing change. I sold very little as a DE and money was har to come by, I sell quite a lot as a weaponsmith and although the cost of entering the market is high and the cost of gaining the 12pt status will be even higher, its a very interesting trade to be in.
