SOE if you want to continue making money and make your communities happy while you continue to put out a inferior product then sell RESPECS! 5 -10 BUCKS a pop. Im grinding my full temp for the 3rd time and i know i would pay for a respec or 2. You wont lose any players cuz the bored ones will buy a respec and switch thier toon to something new and exciting to play for the moment. And buy another when that one wears off. I figure if your gonna sell us something sell us something that we would really benefitfrom...a RESPEC

let me just hop on this and say that i totally agree...

for one year before you can purchase

Perhaps just add a respec to the vet rewards list (no limit). That way, you can choose a free respec every 3 months...

Like i was discussing on another thread......first you have to grind out a template before you respec to something else. Second if you tried the wash rinse repeat of doing everything in 1 tier boxes thats a lot of money to grind a full temp if you had to pay for each respec. I really dont see a down side except the whiners who grinded out every point ( I grinded out my full temp 3 times on pikets)of xp being tight about it. Its not gonna speed up the population of jedi cuz it has nothing to do with xp it has to do with skill points. You still have to grind the xp into a box before you can respec it. Do i see people spending 5 - 10 bucks to get around a master box?...sure. Do i see masses of people going crazy on thier credit cards for 15-20 respecs a month plus subscription fees?.....not really. There will be a few of course but you gotta have crazy money or be just plan crazy to wash rinse repeat if you had to pay for each respec. Last i checked gas was 3 bucks a gallon!

Thats the great thing about America plenty of rude morons quick tobe disrespectful when they dont agree with another persons ideas. As for wha wha noob your account is almost a year beforemy secondoneso i dont know who you'retalking too. Been playing this game since 08/03, and grinded every combat prof there is so there isnt any noob trying to avoid grinding here. Just someone tired of grinding. Trying to put some ideas into this boring stale game. If you got more insults by all means help yourself to em, after all this is America. Land of the free and the home of the mindless idiots who are afraid of anyonewith any kind of creative thinking or ideas.

oh and for the people who say wash rinse repeat of the respecs is what will happen try using your heads and maybe you might come up with a time limit on the amount you can purchase in a specific time period (ex.1 per account every 14-30 days.) which would kill the rinse and repeat and make grinding still important to ones skill progression.

Combat professions are one thing. It seems lame but I guess I wouldn't care about combat profession respecs. In my opinion, a crafting grind is far less enjoyable than a combat one. Additionally, certain crafting grinds are worse/better than others. Someone could just grind out Architect in ten minutes or whatever and respec to Weaponsmith, for example. Someone could also grind out TKA and respec to Tailor. That doesn't seem right to me.
Also, since combat professions get the majority of attention, there's more of a reason to switch more often, I'd think. /shrug

Meh, just ebay a char that has a temp you desire.
But seriously: See your point, grinding itself is boring, especially when you do it several times, but can't agree on a respec. It's curing symptoms. I would rather like to see semi-quest based skill learning as a solution for the real problem.
