You can't go wrong with Humans in any medic related profession, however, there are not enough skill points to be both Master Commando and Master Combat Medic. Even with just the Flamethrower tree only there are not enough points to get a little over half of Combat Medic. Unless you can Master Combat Medic you will never see the full potential of the profession as you need master level to get enough Combat Med Use to use all the good stuff in CM.

To be a Commando I think you have to master Brawler and Marksman.

For that skill template you would need:

Master Medic
Master Marksman
Unarmed combat 4

Combat Medic: Master Medic and Ranged support 4
Commando: Master Marksman and Unarmed Combat 4

You might be able to ge the Novice skills in these, but you wouldn't be able to master both of them (or even 1 of them)

Just for your information, you wont have enough skillpoints to master both of those proffesions.
