Ya as a consumer, I'm just not buying anything atm. It has nothing to do with the bazaar/vendor search and everything to do with the CU and its changes. With the possiblility of having to buy different armor and weapons I need to hold on to bank account for now. If after the CU dust settles your sales havent increased or have dipped lower, then I'd worry.

Good timing to increase the limits to 20,000 and open the beta to the new CU...
Hard to tell what is effecting sales! It's an evil plot!

Didn't the bazaar go to 20k the same time they implemented the vendor search feature? Could be the vendor search feature is impacting you instead.
Do you see the clothing items being sold more frequently on the public bazaar now?

i'm seeing a big slow down of loots and big ticket stuff but not of weapons, tools or food
because of the upcoming CU i've been hoarding resources rather than using up tons on grenades and people still love grenades by the boatload.
what i am seeing is an increase in sales off two vendors that i generally don't advertise...my overflow vendors have the same prices as my other big mall but i've never spammed or done much to do anything other than put them on the map
that has to be a product of the vendor search thing

I'd be surprised if the 20k limit increase would affect tailors, unless for some reason more tailor products are offered on the bazaar now?

My shop sales are really low now due to the bazaar increase to 20,000 credits. Anyone else notice a slow-down in their merchant tents or stores? Course I am a tailor so it would affect my profession probably alot more than others.

Yeah, but I'm not convinced it's because of the 20,000 increase. I thing it may be a case of FUD (Fear Uncertinty Doubt.) Most players are well aware that the CURB is coming and we just don't know what's going to be happening.
Yes we are becoming famillar with the new combat system on TC-5, But we don't know certrian things. Will our attachments still work? Will we need new weapons and armor? Can medics heal wounds? Will 'non-combat' classes like Rangers and Scouts get the Health Bonus and armor certs that the 'combat classes' get or are they going to be at a big disadvantage causing a shortage of organic resources. I could go on and on.
But I think the slow down in sales is related to players holding their credits in reserve. Waiting to see what happens. One thing is certian. The CURB will mean that players will need to respec their templates. That means they'll need new gear. That translates to more sales. So I believe the economy will correct its self. We just have to ride it out.

Soon there isn't much need for merchants (getting the profession)if they continue altering the bazaar in unfavor of the merchant profession.

the only things I am selling are those resources required for grinding... which seems to be the only thing this game will continue to have to offer
if it is true that gaining Master will be more challenging, then grinding NOW as opposed to after the CU seems to be the idea
also, clothing lasts virtually forever...

I'm having pretty good sales, but I also never used the bazaar to sell much of anything. Most of my products are priced out of the range of the bazaar with the exception of furniture. Since the limit of what you can sell on the bazaar is fairly limited, it's not worth my time to sell furniture on the bazaar.

I intend to use the bizarre more to help boost my sales buut in general nobody is buying anything. Just check the trade forums. On my server, someone is trying to flog a 12pt AS clothing for 30m and normally this would hav ebeen snapped up in seconds but nobody wants it. Everyone is worried about their stuff being nerfed...
