Thread: Intimidation
I'm just learning about TKA so please bear with me.
I read somewhere that an intimidation attack is part of this class. Does it do the same as a mob intimidate, ie. reduce your opponent's damage by 50%?
Actually, you get intimidate at like novice brawler... Warcry... but its much more useful when you're fighting stuff that lasts longer than 5 seconds ![]()
I am actually a new Master Brawler, and would love to know the actual range limits on Warcry and Intimidation 2...

Intimidation is good. It's a good way to set up critters/folks. Slows them down...which in essence speeds you up. My view is that I would use Intimidate over Warcry 2 every time (but thats because I'm not a wookie, and my chance for Intimidate is better then my chance for crying war).

I've typically found the range to be at 20m, although latency could be a factor. Usually though, I intimdate things when i'm right on top of them, since using a special to initiate melee sometimes doesn't work (ie no special happens, just enter combat).
hit intimidate twice to start combat. the first won't even drain any HAM, and won't do anything. the second will take effect if it lands though. same with warcry.
When Music is used in propaganda or advertisement, it is to convey a falling. You can for example use a military marsh to convey a feeling of power and might while you show columns of matching troops, to boost you own sides morale. (Think the imperial march and pictures of marching storm troopers). On the other hand, you can use something slow and soft to convey a feeling of peace and benevolence, while you show images of you governmental buildings/civilian infra structure, to make the enemy se you as more human and make thair troops less willing to fight to the death. (Thin the main starwars theme and pictures of imperial doctors treating civilian casualties and rebel prisoners of war, and of stormtroopers handing out food to the starving children).
Besides if any profession should be give propaganda tool to use in combat it should be merchants. After all they have a professional title named "Propagandaist"
As for the role in combat it self, as you describe it, it is that of a bard. Bards are not starwarsy, I did not se anyone playing music or dancing in any combat satiation in any of the movies. Neither do war drum fit starwars.
I am not even sure I would like to se us become a "combat profession", the entertainer profession are supposed to be the social professions, and not direct combat support. Right?
