I wanted TKM and CM. Not enough skill points for that little combo. So I figure ok, no biggie, maybe I'll do Doc with TKM. I've got 18 pts left over. Are there any Brawler paths other than UA(already have it) that will aid me? I have 18 pts left over, and I'm not sure where to spend them. Any ideas, comments, suggestions?

nothing is worth getting just for brawler skills... i guess get scout
or get farther in the doc/CM professions if you arent master in both
if you are master in both, scout is the only thing worth getting, 1-0-0-0 scout

I agree, scout would be useful because of terrain negotiation and harvesting (can get some good cash of creature resourses :smileyvery-happy
and terrain neg. is always useful when you need to get to, or from somewhere in a hurry

I am doing the FS quests for my swordsman doc. I am doing the Melee speed and acc trees, FS healing (the first 2 boxes) , and the Melee and Ranged defense. I think it will be fun. (not making him a jedi, already have one of those)

18 points?
this has been answered before, with varying responses... but:
novice ANYTHING costs 100 creds, and a few xp to a tier 1 skill. you might want to pick up novice scout, cap the xp, and then pull novice artisan for the occasional survey... which will cost you 100 creds, and dip a little into the scout xp you've capped.
FS skills are your best cost/effect ratio, in most cases, should you want to grind them and abandon the '15 point novice' options.
if you HAD the skill points to spend, I'd tell you to master brawler.
since you don't, and might not want to play with FS or novice skills... dump it all into novice (or x000) fencer. if you're not capped on melee/ranged defense (which you aren't), you can stack a few points on your current skillmods quickly with fencer.

i agree, either get that 1/x/x/x fencer for added melee and ranged defense, or get some FS skills, since your tkm melee speed and accuracy won't do much... so i would get the ranged and melee def trees along with maybe luck or the medical enhancing tree (forget name)

with 18 points i don't think he is going to be able to take novice fencer, cos the 4 boxes cost 14 + novice costs 6 = 20 - unruckey!

hrmmm do'h thought it was too good to be true..... honestly, get FS then... terrain negotiation from scout just isn't that worth it better off getting melee and ranged def from FS quests

Good suggestions above:
Alternatively, since you don't have CM, you might consider getting one of the other trees in brawler so you can pick up a really good DOT weapon. But other than that, the tree would be pretty useless unless you can get all the way to Master Brawler.

Teras Kasi Master/Master Doctor is a good template as it is, not much for stacking, but nothing beats buffing yourself, and taking off poisons and stats PVP or PVE.
Scout is the best way to go, harvesting is still an option, and you can pick up one more box, for terrain.
