What are some good first moves a brawler should make to gain experience points?

i recommend fighting solo against weak creatures just outside of the city.

theres usually several players doign the same and u can wait for them toa ttack a creature then join on and help him/her defeat it..

group exp is kinda crappy so soloing against weak enemies is my preference

If I'm not mistaken, to be a bounty hunter you need to master scout and marksman... not brawler. I guess if you have enough points you could do brawler as well, but you actually have to master scout and marksman... that's a lot of work.

This is probably a stupid question, but why do so many people add master brawler on to fencer? I don't see how the little +5 attribute mods affect fencer in such a big way that they would want to spend all the skill points on it.

heh, its a LOT better than you think. if you wanna pvp, the KD works perfectly with the fencer dizzy, and unlike an unarmed KD, it works from 20M, so you can romp kiters. the 1h toughness is a lot better than you think. then the intimidate2 and warcry2 are great, intim is super important in pvp. all in all it just adds up, and there arent many better ways to spend points with the dodge/defense caps.

One other note. With the 30-second KD immunity/high resistance after standing up, you usually have to wait awhile to put the person back on the ground again if you can't keep them dizzied (or they get lucky and get back up). However, if you Dizzy/Lunge1'd them, you can use Lunge2 and put them back in. If you Dizzy/Lunge2'd them, you can Lunge1 them to kneeling, where they'll fall down again. Good fun. ^_^

Is it worth it to have master brawler? Right now I'm at pike 4/1/1/2.

Master Brawler in anyone's arsenal is a great asset. The extra speed added with lunge 2 is very nice. You might not be speed capped, however, I love lunge 2!

Hmmmm lets see +5 to speed, int 2, warcry 2, lunge 2, longer CoB duration I can't imagine my template without it.
