Thread: Is warcry still broken? Had same effects today (11/23/04) that it did with 11.2 -UPDATED-

Today I went after a Jedi....we got pretty well into the fight when he warcried me, busted out a one handed saber and started hitting my mind. I COULD NOT attack him due to warcry......I could've sworn I saw in the patch notes this bug was fixed...
So, as soon as the warcry on me was up I warcried him and killed him. Not my prefered method of fighting but I had no choice. While he was warcried I took him from full HAM to death and he didn't heal himself or attack once.
Is Warcry still completely broken or does it work off/on?
Edit: Tested it some more, it's still bugged in terms of attacking/not attacking, but it no longer stacks.

It's still broken. If used, you cannot attack for the duration of the effect, regardless of hits you take. IMO, using it for anything but to heal yourself while it's in its broken state is wrong. Stinks, I wish they wouldn't mess with stuff that's working.
Scenario showing the great effects of patch 11.2: After youleave the terminal from Coronet traveling toTheed while overt, you have warcry spammed on you while you're still loading and are delayed before you load in and are killed without ever being able to defend yourself. <-- Is extreme, but didn't used to be possible but now is.

Warcry 2 will not break no matter what the situation is. 20 seconds of not being able to heal or do anything is pretty much instant death.
Why this is not a priority issue for fixing i do not know, it's rediculous that they break things in the game with not a care to put them back. Do they even test this stuff? I'd be willing to bet that the devs will go hush on this for a couple monthes and try to sweep it under the rug with no fix untill the "combat upgrade". Devs prove me wrong?

Tested it with some friends....it is indeed still bugged. However, it no longer stacks.

Still not breaking at all, nothingmore funthan 5 people pounding on you and poison/disease/fire ticking away while being able to do nothing about it.
Good thing there is JTL cause PvP is hosed till this is fixed. Please fix!!!!

Please read my thread. Warcry is bugged, my friend uses on me in a duel. I can't atatck or heal due to bug. Then its effect passes, and all my attacks dissolve in one second, and he's incapped in one second. Weird things are happening.

I think SOE needs to state what should break warcry and then just fix it. I believe part of the problem is nobody knows for sure whats is suppose to break warcry. Is it a posture change a DOT or is it simply a hit. But here is where SOE strives to fail. they never state how it's suppose to work and hence from one persepctive or another its always broken, anyway i don't believe this one will be fixed prior to CU it will simply get changed from doing one thing to another to another to another to another back to the first rinse and repeat.

i was using warcry 2 on kimos, it said "you delay for 20 seconds", i didnt hit them after i had warcried, and even though they were supposed to be delayed they kept hitting me :-/. It may have been latency but this has happened before as well perhaps i've missed some pve aspect of warcry.
