what have you been doing?

best way to master brawler is to kill lots of things

get some good ubsee armor and a set of buffs, a decent sliced weapon then go to town on some baddies

Go to the krayt graveyard and kill feral banthas.

I mastered Marksman in a buff session doing this -- brawler would take a lot longer though, since they don't start off with an area attack. (Sit in the middle and spam /pointblankarea, lol.)

Feral banthas are sissies and give about 1.3k xp for 1.5k HAM -- or something like that; not sure on the exact numbers. Easy kills, good xp -- and natural lairs spawn LOTS of them.

Only problem is that those things are few and far between.

Anything in the Krayt graveyard that isn't a krayt, or NPC is worth killing.

I went to Dantooine and did quenkers. With a good buff set (both Doctor and Dancer), good Brandy, and a decently fast weapon, you can get your skills up very fast. I even managed to grind out Polearms I, II, and III on them with a Wood Staff, Reinforced Combat Staff, and Lance respectively. Be warned, though. . . I lost over one hundred thousand in cash doing this, since your kill speed is going to mondo suck, and since you'll be getting new skills every two to four quenkers, you'll be heading back to the Mining Outpost to train a lot. (I had shuttled to an Improved Job Market to take the missions, so an 800 credit round trip shuttle ride, which also burns some buff time.) But you'll be getting new skills every two to four quenkers (depending on which skill levels you're working up), until you start hitting the IV skills, at which point you'll need eight to ten. Then, you'll just need to get 620 AP. I'm planning to get Brawler 4444, then hit Mos Eisley and beg to train people

Find the fastest speed weapon you can get, this would be VK for unarmed, Gaffi for one hand, 2 handed axe for 2h, and a really fast NS Lance or LVA for pike.

Don't worry about not being able to use the weapon for the first 2 boxes of each line. All the specials at those level suck anyway. Speed of the weapon is most important because that will still work. So you use berserk to kill everything. Just 2 days ago I got through the first 2 boxes in 1h and 2h in about 30 min using an ok gaffi with Speed powerups and a 2h axe with speed powerups. Just got a buff in coronet, killed some red con animals outside town using berserk and auto attack. I was swinging pretty fast for about 150 damage each swing. Once you get up to certification to use the weapon you will go faster. Don't worry about trying to find some stupid knife that does 40 damage and is slow, cause the specials are less damaging than berserk and adds a time delay.

Polearm I was lucky and had a .7 speed NS lance. I just beserked my way through the first 2 boxes until I could use the lance for real after getting the 2nd box. But even if you have a slower lance, just get speed power ups and berserk your way through the 1st 2 boxes. If you are lucky and can find a high speed "stick" or whatever they are called then use that since you will be qualified to use it. But I wouldn't waste too much time with that. With bersek alone and <3 second speed weapon you can get the 6k for the first 2 boxes in about 10-20 minutes.

TK on the other hand sucks. Get a Vk, fast as possible. I have a 1.4 speed, 1.5, and 1.6 that I have grinded with. I didn't really see much of a difference between them. The problem with TK is that all attacks through all 4 boxes are less damage over time than just using berserk. So just do that. And make sure you get the burnout food that gives you +25 to Unarmed damage. It works good.

Also for all professions, Use the dodge food, ethier the +35 aircake or the +55 or so other stuff. Both last about 15 minutes or so and will lower the amount of times you get hit by mobs 35% - 55%

Also, examine the creatures you are attacking. don't be a noob and try to attack some animals that has 65% kinetic resists and low or medium armor. Thier are plenty of mobs out there that are None Armor and around 5%-15% Kinetic resists.

I completed each skill tree in one buff session for each. Is it possible to master each skill tree faster?

It also cost about 48-60k for me to master, not including the occasional shuttle to get away from the traffic/congestion of the big cities and the cost to repair my swoop once or twice.

umm...better not...gaderiffi is friggin slow

heres what i did to get the one handed:
get a dagger until u reach the first box and grab about 2-3 curved swords from the bazaar and get them sliced, hope for a good slice... put the stats into this calculator and use the one with the best damage per second.

you have to look at only 1 special for all your sliced weapons and compare the dmg
(of course you shouldnt be speedcapped but you wont with any weapon as novice brawler)
