Thread: Artisan Qestion for Brawlers: What stats do you look for in Power-Ups??
I have been crafting Melee Weapon Power Ups, but the sales seem to be pretty scarce. Since I really have no experience with Melee combat I was wondering what stats/modifiers you guys (and gals) look for when buying Power Ups for your Melee weapons?
Thanks for your help!
I like the increases to speed for the polearm, min/max damage increases for the one handed weapons and vks, and if at possible anything that lowers HAM cost on our weapons would be bestsellers im sure, if you could find a way to craft melee powerups that reduce the ham cost on specials i think you could sell them very well.

The prefixes affect either chance to hit or HAM costs. I've seen no indication the chance to hit actually works so I'd like a HAM costs one. Since HA can be stimmed or buffed that means Mind is the most useful - the prefix is Compensating. Soloists who don't get themselves buffed might like Health costs - Balancing, especially if using Power Hammers
The best suffixes are speed or damage. Most people reckon that speed increases your damage over time more, provived you don't hit the cap. TKA masters and experts might do this so they will want damage. Now max damage beats min damage. If you get a weapon that does 100-200 and you boost the minimum 10% you have 110-200, average 155. If you boost max damage 10% you have 100-220, average 160
So either Compensating of Refining (for the TKAers) or Compensating of Control-Enhancement (for everyone else). People expect 30%/15% which is pretty easy with decent materials and about 7-8 experimentation points
Really push it - hawk it in the streets - as I don't think we're quite as used to using them and to knowing what's good as the ranged fighters
Good luck!
