And if you have would all the benifits to defense stack? I've looked at most of the other skills and hybrid professions and none of them seem too interesting or finished really. Well maybe medicine is a little intersting.

Or is it better to just become expert in one of two skill trees. Ala master pistol and master unarmed?

Yes. This is the pre-requisite for a Commando.

FYI: The pre-requisite for a Commando is masterUnarmed and a master marksman, not master brawler and a master marksman.

I forsee serveral Master Marksmen because ita pre-requisite for Bounty Hunter and Commando, but few if any Master brawlers.

I believe you have to master Brawler, Marksman, and Artisan in order to become a smuggler, don't you?

I'm doing both as a way to have options, since each combat skillshave their own advantages. Plus, right now it seems that there are a lot of problems with the elite professions. Why power level up to a BH only to be disapointed.

I beleave the pre-requisite for aSmuggler is Master Unarmed Specialization, Pistol Specialist, Engineering IV and Business IV.

When you seea starter professionlisted under as a requirement you need to look at that profession because often the requirement is only part of the profession.

You have enough points to master and single tree in the brawler and marksman professions, and there related elite professions. So essentiallty you could be a master pikeman and a master rifleman, with plenty of points left over for a good bit of scout/artisan/medic or what ever else you enjoy.

Unless you want to be a jack-of-all-trades, become efficent in at least 1 elite profession.

Hmm so I take it all the neat defensive bonuses you get in pistol don't stack withthe ones in fencer- for instance-then? Bummer.

I'm stuck as to what to do with my toon. I wanted to be a commando first. But they aren't finished. So I decided to be a bh but they have issues with their missons and a few other things.

Iam just a fewgame days away from master marksman, almost all the way up the unarmed tree, have some medic tree skills, and half way though the scout tree. With no idea where I want to take my guy.

Bleh.

You have a long time to pick your profession. Don't just tie yourself down to one. I do suggest advancing in one close and one ranged profession YOU enjoy. Just play the game and have fun. Things will evolve and you have many options.

My personal direction is

(Scout) as High as I can get in all four trees

(Carbineer) Fouth tier on this one now :-)

(Marksman) Fouth tier on this one also :-)

(Unarmed Brawler) Second tier now. Got tired of getting my azz kicked when I would go toe to toe.

I am really digging this game despite the Lowca issues
