I was wondering if Anyone has had success at making a Brawler that was good at pvp. I Dont mean you have to rip everyone up and never die, im just talking about like doing Ok vs Ranged Weapons. It seems the majority of PvPers seem to be Ranged. Are there any Builds or anything that are just very good vs Them or atleast have a 50% chance of winning? I would just like to see a good Melee guy being able to pvp with the rest of the Ranged instead of seeing the ranged picking off the melee guy before he has a chance which is what i see alot of the time. Thnx. Just a General layout of how to go about this would be appreciated(im assuming it can be done, and im sure it has lol)

To Add: Im talking about any Brawler Skill also, not just 1-Handed or Unarmed. Any of the 4 is fine.

90% of the time my fencer can win versus a non-bleeding hit opponent. Be it BH, pistoleer, etc. All of the times I have lost, I have lost to bleeding shot.

Stats:

health: high

strength: med

constitution: low

action: high

quickness: med

(eerr the regeneration stat name): low

mind: med-high

mind efficiency (whatever the name is): med

willpower: high

Currently advanced footwork, intermediate finesse. Using an 80-208 2.6 second Ryyk blade.

If I know my opponent has some form of knockdown skill, I will attempt my own as well. First I will attempt a lunge, if they're close enough. This usually ends the battle because the dizzy directly following that will knockdown the opponent. After that it's senseless beating with bleed hits, melee2 hits, etc all causing upwards of 3000 damage (if they're not dead by hit #1 on the floor).

If I'm forced to chase them I will spam lunge and attempt the same thing. If I have an option to run into a building and get them to come, I will do that first if they simply start kiting.

If I'm up against another brawler, however knockdowns are prohibited, I will intimidate/warcry/blind in succession, then bleed and followed by melee2s until the opponent is down. The beginning is important especially when dueling a high level heavy swordsman because one hit can potentially kill you.

If your fencer is fast enough (mine is), you can link lunge between any attack to keep them kneeling and tacking high damage without truly using a knockdown.

I am a novice pikeman with a long vibro axe. Using polearm hit 2, if my imperial opponent is holding a weapon, especially a rifle, I have 95% chance to incapacitate each and every time.

The way to be effective in PvP is to not sport overt, have means of obtaining a TEF. If you dont heal make sure to get in a group that has one overt.

I never even bothered with PvP (and still dont, just whack people for faction when they invade anchorhead, and on corbantis it's always a slaughter of much imperial blood) until I could get the high chance of incap. This is simply because if you can't kill someone with one hit, you are likely going to take away half of their bar and they will RUN RUN RUN. You are then screwed.

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

I am very succesfull at PvP. I am a Master TKA, Master Brawler.

I use unarmed Lunge 2 from 15m away to pin ranged PC down, and then finish them with unarmed hit 3 or unarmed knockdown 2.
