Ok so yeah I was thinking, it's not unarmed if you use Vibro Knuckles.

Instead of an unarmed weapon...which ijust sounds stupid. How about we get clothing with bonus' instead. Perhaps a special light clothing, which gives slight bonus' to speed and dodging. It seems like this would make more sense than an "unarmed weapon"

this stuff already exists in the form of tapes and panels. Granted i've not gotten anymore since the patch that stopped humanoids from dropping loots, but they do exists.

I've found tapes that range from pistol accuracy while standing 2, armorsmith experimintation 1, pistol speed 2, droid tracking 2 as well as 2unarmed accuarcy 2 and 1 unarmed damage 1 panels.

Tapes go into socketed clothes and panels are suppose to be used in armor ( but are / were bugged).

I've also found clothing with the already in them - something healing (music) 1 shirt.

given enough time and enough slots on clothing you can make some pretty nice boosts to damage. with 6 clothing slots at 3 sockets per piece you can add 18 to your unarmed damage no problem. factor in sockets on jewelry if they are possible and you can add who knows how much more.

Sounds cool. I haven't seen a drop in what seems like forever.

I've always wondered what those sockets were for and how to use them...

Kindly direct me to anyone that has made "socketed" clothing (or armor). I have never seen this.

if you wish to make a character on naritus server, planet naboo, town kaadara I will show you socketed clothes. i currently have 3 or pieces of the stuff. pant, belt, chest belt and 1 other i think. I am usually on around 6pm est Mon-Fri.

Socketed clothes have thier name in yellow and if you examine the clothes it will list the number of sockets.

Also, I'd like to take issue with the VK being arms. You could consider it as something you "wear" like a glove just as easily, and therefore not be arms. A knife you hold and "wield" and that would be arms.

If they changed it from Vibro Kuckler to vibro Gauntlet, would you be satisfied then?

Vibroknuckles are nothing more than Star Wars Brass Knuckles.

the ones I was collecting USE to drop off humanoids on naboo, but after the story went live its seems loots were bugged and no longer dropped or atleast became uber rare. I've now seen dev poststhat state loot is dropped at a 15% chance rate, but have not verified that yet.

Perhaps fisticuffs would suit ya more than unarmed. Either way, the moves are the same with or without the brass knuckles. You use your fist. Only difference between the 2 is with VK's, there's a vibrating piece of metal attacked to your fingers. The moves are still the same though.

I know I repeated that idea twice there, but some people don't seem to see it.

Message covering Socketed clothing and attchments

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Valcyn&message.id=12628&highlight=#M12628

By the way, clothing using these self enhancing attachments are BUGGED---when you take them off you loose stats if I remember correctly! Anyhow, I thought I'd let all the brawlers out there know before they spend THOUSANDS on good attachments.

p.s. do more searches for: Attachment, Socketed, and Atribute to get more information.

Hope that helps!
