if you plan to be exclusively a tank then it is an extremely good ability. if you plan to branch out and be more a jack of all trades then you wont be able to afford it.
warcry doubles the time it takes for a mob to swing but costs around 200 ham a try with at least a 50% failure rate if this AND intimidate stick the fight is basicly over... unless you cant kill it in 2 min hehe
intimidate 2 hands down the best ability i have ever received. for 2 minutes the creature has a lower chance to hit you and does 50% dammage
berzerk 2 mixed bag some like it some dont... i hate this thing and removed it frrom my bar... loseing the ability to do anything other than swing or run for 2 min or more is horible... cant blind, cant intimidate, cant knockdown, cant sit, cant dizzy, cant stun, cant bleed, cant.. well you get the picture...
+5 toughness... takeing 5% less dmg is very nice
+5 speed 5% decrease in swing times is also very nice
+5 accuracy increased accuracy is ALWAYS welcome
Lunge 2 is awesome, but I think you get some type of knockdown in all the elite proffessions branching off brawler. Zerk 2is ok but it lasts a little too long for me. There are things I like to do in between killing creatures that berserk will not allow. Intimidate is really hard to stick to the creatures. I haven't tried it much after obliterating my ham from constant tries. Warcry 2 isn't really in my strategy of fighting, so I'm not sure how well it works.
I'm not trying to hijack this post but I think that we as master brawlers should get some sort of awesome defense or hit point bonus. Master Brawler is a pain to get and there aren't really any advantages to it. Most you can get later in other proffesions like Lunge 2 - Knockdown.
I don't know, but I feel like dumping MB already. I can't spare the skill points just to have Zerk 2 and Lunge 2. What do you guys think?
zeph, the intimidate cost is occaisonally heinous i agree... i have had it fail 12 times in a row once for about 1k self inflicted dammage... haveing to stim yourself to avoid self incap is a bad/frustrateing thing...but usually it works in the first 2-3 tries. i highly recommend you try this ability again over a few hours and watch how much better you do over that time. i think you will be amazed at how little dammage you take after this sticks. often, if i get it in the first 2-3 like usual, i end the fight close to where i started it after i regen back some health. i have even had this stick when i was at 1/8th health and beaten down the mob (lvl 21 or so mob) before it could kill me... mind you those times are as rare as the 12 straight misfires but..
I'm so dumb. Thanks Zemsta for some reason it just didn't hit me to try a couple then stop. I'll give it a try. I think I heard something about the devs reducing the failure rate on these specials any way. Not sure tho. Thanks again.
