The thought just hit me like a basketball to the face:

Shouldn't berserk increase your speed as well??

I mean come on, it's called "Berserk"!

While you're at it, you shouldn't have control over what you do and have the possibility of attacking people in your group. Seems like a good balance to increased damage and your idea of increased speed.

it does increase speed, chance to hit too. Right now the bad thing about beserk is A) it doesn't scale, beserk is godly at low levels as you one shot worrts and B) master beserk is the same skill as Beserk 1 just lasts longer.

That's fine with me. I mostly go solo...

I'm not much of a grouper, at least when I'm meleeing. (Rifle shot is far too easy though.)

Running speed?!

Most certainly havent seen that happen. Atleast the to hit speed is harder to notice without parseing the DPS with and without berserk so that could be true.

No no I meant attack speed (delay between swings)

And yes, can you prove that?? As it stands, I think it is purely a dmg increase.

I just tested it. Berserk didnt add speed (or it was a really really small difference that I didnt notice).

Maybe like a +10 speed skill mod or something while berserked would be great.

According to the manual, Berzerk increases speed as well as damage. I sure don't notice this...

The slower melee classes (2h and pike) do not get any help from berserk. The DPS increase is low and the loss of specials is debilitating. It seems like it would be nice for fencers though.
