Brawler and the advanced melee professions as well seems to have one BIG problem in pvp
they get shot before they get to hit...
Well that's how it is and that's how it is gonna stay...

Why is it that it is possible to run and shoot when it is not possible to run and swing a melee attack ???
Why is it that the shooters do not even get any real negative to hit modifiers when running and shooting - did you even see hans solo not having to stop up and shoot when running away from pursuers ehh?? Immagine what a lamppole would do to a shooter due to running and shooting hehe - you were hit for 1k damage by lamppole your chitin armor took 570 points of the damage ![]()
The server / client syncronisation often makes it impossible for a melee class to hit a moving target while it doesn't impare shoting as it is based on ranges that are so far it poses no problem with server sync...
Why is ham cost so cheap on most ranged special attacks???
Why is it that a pistol user can whip he's pistol on a melee user and knock him flat with a melee attack that is better and more effective than any melee knockdown - "**edit** I want a nunchaka with pistols in each end

Why is it that the melee professions does not have better protection against special moves than they do ???

Well here's a suggestion
Give melee users a combat burst run - that can only be used while in combat and that recycles like 30 seconds after it wears off or perhaps 1 minute - give running and shooting a lot more negative to hit modifiers - give brawlers some more toughness agains special moves - and finally let brawler professions have a faster recycle on equilibrium...
I question myself after the berserk nerf - why did I bother going to Master Brawler before going on to heavy swordsman - hmmmm - ohh yeah I get a +5 speed and to hit wooot
- the intimidate isn't good enough and the same goes for our warshout - let that combat burst run be attainable at Master brawler then people will think it worthwhile to get it ![]()

The run and hit thing is most needed. I have died so much in pvp due to me trying to catch the marksman and i can't even hit them. Who is going to just stand there and let us smack on them? And our lunge lasts long enough for them to recover then we get to hit again.
I really wanted to be TKA but now i am deciding whether to go marksman so i have some chance in pvp.
