Thread: Another idea for a new item brawlers would love (easy to add)
Already we brawlers are scr*wed with only one type of weapon power up that is impossible to get a good combonation (unlike the various ranged ones that let you focus on a few specific traits.
So, how about this as a new kind of melee powerup:
TheAftermarket Vibro-attachment
Adding a vibro-blade surface of some sort to any melee weapon (except VK of course),It always adds either damage or wound chance, but instead of a second bonus, it gives a small penalty to speed.
The penalty would have to be very small, just enough to sort of balance the benefit of reliably making damaging and/or wounding powerups. And since it's an aftermarket item, of course it will make your sword/pike/dagger slightly less balanced.
Or the penalty could be random like other powerups, adding a point or three to action cost, etc.
PS. Speaking of wound chance, does that do any good against NPCs/MOBs, or only against other players?
