- Combat experience is 10% of the weapon experience you receive.
- So if you want a lot of combat experience, do as much damage as you can during group combat with whatever weapon you are using or have handy.
- If you are alone, then equip a weapon you have little experience in to increase the amount of weapon experience you will receive. (Of course doing so will make the mob harder to kill, but that's your problem
)
- It is best of course to attack the highest possible mob that you can to achieve maximum experience.

Combat Xp is a toughie because its reoughly 10% of total XP.
The way I got the most combat Xp was simply by massive killing sprees.
I found that I would get more combat XP overall by killing many, many
easier creatures than killing 1 big creature then have to rest for 5 minutes.
My favorites are diseased Vrelts. I can take out 30 of them without rest
which gives me about 660 combat xp. Conversly to get that from a tougher
mob.. well... you can't solo.
I worked over Humbabas for that and realized I could barely get 200 combat xp
before I had to rest and it took nearly as long as the diseased vrelts did
because I had to rest.
Just a thought.

Don't know too much about grenades, but here is a way to boost the amount of Combat XP you receive per creature. Get novice scout(if you are in the 0.00000000001% that doesn't have it already:smileywink
and work up the trapping tree. Throw as many different types of traps as you can at each creature you fight.Mainly pick on lairs ofsmall con blue or even con green creatures. You will receive less WEAPON XP but more COMBAT XP per fight, with practically no downtime.

Bleed Attack
Throw grenades like crazy until the creature bleeds out.
All of your XP is Combat XP. For example, a Greater Womprat gives 1600 xp, all of this would be combat XP.
