Thread: How much better is Berserk 2 than Berserk 1?
Hopefully though the next round of correspondent issues will address beserk2
If you use Beserk 1 often, then Beserk 2 will be the best thing ever.
It's generally the same thing, but lasts for minutes instead of seconds.
However, that can be a problem when you really need to do another move and are stuck on Beserk.
I can't stand beserk 2.
To be fair, I never used beserk 1. I just don't feel the offensive bonus outweighed the extra damage you take, and the loss in flexibility you have by not being able to perform your specials. Maybe, just maybe, its useful in a group if someone else is tanking...but if your meleeing, sooner or later you seem to get hit too.
Beserk 2 is even worse precisely BECAUSE of the long duration. Once you hit it, your locked out of using any specials for quite a while. If you had a way to cancel it it might be ok, but as it is, it usually lasts well after my fight is over. Im left standin there waiting for it to wear off so I can sit down.
I don't wear armor however, and I rely on my specials to debuff and hinder my foe, as well as to target certain pools if one bar happens to become much more depleted then the others. I prefer flexibility (don't use combat macros either) and beserk prevents this.
The real reason to get master brawler is Lunge 2. I LOVE this skill. Not sure how its going to pan out with the new KD timer, but its still much better then Lunge 1.
