Thread: Thoughts on the Vibro Knuckler nerf compared to other Brawler classes
Okay, first off. This is not a plea to remove Vibro stuff from the other brawler classes. Be reasonable. My thoughts are, Why not return the Vibro Knucklers to EXPERT level unarmeds just as the Vibro Lance can be used by vibro polearms and the vibro blade by One-hand users, etc etc...
Secondly: It was absurd to take away the knuckles from the unarmed class as until they reach TK NOvice they are in essence street fighters and the like and those DO often use some form of 'leverage' in gloves or things of that nature. I would offer that a TK Novice should get special bonuses if they remove all weapons.
Having started a new character from scratch Satuday night and having reached unarmed 4 tonight, I am doing between 8-9k xp an hour. This means from scratch to TKA novice, 27 hours (at 8k), what is the problem ? For the average player this means about a week to go from scratch to TKA Novice, maybe 2 weeks for the very casual player.
On another character I did it before the nerf and I agree, I was doing about 20k xp an hour, that was exagerated, about 11 hours to max unarmed.... If you are only playing one character you have to do this once... and thats it. The vibro cert is gone till TKA, grin and bear it.....
Now I got no problem with vibro as a TKA cert. I just have a problem with not having anything else to use inbetween. Try tellinga marksman that he/she has to use a CDEF weapon till their elete profession, and even in the brawler class a one handed swordsman to use that knife etc... etc... etc... It's not fun.
I see people say they can make how much XP an hr and blah blah blah. Not everyone logs on and makes a b-line to the nearest XP hunting area. alot of people doesn't even know where the "hot" spots are. All I'm saying is add in a couple of other weapons that unarmed brawlers can use. Brass knuckles, gold knuckles, claws. Something.

Not everyone is going for TKA. Soat the end of the line for an unarmed brawler, a Master Unarmed can do about 75 damage on a good day with a regular attack.
I like that there's a cool fist-weapon you get at TKA.
I don't like that until then, you can't do any real damage, since there are no other fist-weaponsvbefore TKA.
