Most games of this type need some kind of balance between all the diffrent styles of characters. However, without a doubt there is a HUGE unbalance between Melee and Ranged. I can see in no way with any signs of change that a melee class with the current system in place, could catch and kill a Ranged player unless lucky.


Im willing to accept Eye shot spammed. Happens ALL the time. Im willing to except way over our damage curve and fire and all the rest. However, I propose some small changes to even things up.


1) The heavier the weapon the more encumberson it should be. When you pull out a flame thrower your speed should drop, along with any kind of ranged weapon. Melee classes across the board should be faster thanRanged types. It makes sense and evens things up a bit so melee classes can even engage people in combat. Which leads me to an even more important idea.


2) PLEASE let us hit while moving. Not being able to attack while moving makes it nearly impossible to engage in PvP in any kind of combat. We desperatly need help in this. I have to stop, plant my feet, and then attack. Somehow I doubt the other guy will sit and wait for me.


If anyone else has any other ideas, please let me know cause it is **edit** aggravating as it stands.
