Thread: How much do the Skills stats really add to the game?
Hi guys,
I was thinking of a possible way to make a melee character better since I really felt hart broken for melee classes. I currently am running a Hybrid Smuggler/BH pistoleer ( real nasty PVP distance). I began looking at my STATS bonuses I get from the skill trees I have.
My Smuggler/BH combo ( Which leaves me with no skill points):
Alertness: +10
Bounty Mission Difficulty: +1

Not bad over all and if I buy good weapons and decent armor sliced for encumbrance I can wear armor and still have HAM right at 1000... as long as I keep Tatooine Sunburns and Neuron Pixie flowing.

Extremely better in Defense Stats ( was my idea that got me designing it) and the Ranged and Melee defense is WAY higher. With a properly sliced Armor and weapons, and the same food combo.. I wonder if this character would do better then the original.
The biggest diff is the specials area where the former is designed to delay your action, knock you down, hit you hard, then finish you off with eye or torso shot..... the later would be able to hit any bar but i don't know how effectively....
But it brings me to my question: How much does the Stats listed above play in the overall ability of the char?
