For an adequate response, you really need to state how far along you are with swordsman.
For myself, I primarily use a ph with low mind cost. Tat sunburn and ryshcake almost negates the Health cost from it and gives a bit of relief from the already relatively low mind cost on it. From what I've seen, PH's have a lower mind cost, by about 40, than the 2h curved.
When I shop for weapons, I exclusively look at the mind cost.

Don't try that food combination until you see a hotfix notation stating that buffs are fixed. At this time, using more than one buff at a time or using a buff before a previous buff has completely expired WILL bork your stats.
