I think all the other classes will get their damage and accuracy mods on their weapons.

Taken from this thread from the devs.

Melee Damage Output

I believe that melee damage is too low across the board. I will be investigating move abilities and look into bringing all melee class damage up to a more appropriate level.

Melee Weapon Accuracy

Negative to hits at close range for some weapons.

Devs response -

I don’t like the negative ranges in the slightest bit. I’ll see what I can get changed from the weapon crafting side to negate these modifiers. It will probably be on new weapo

And devs always do what they say right? I mean they've done so much. Promising to bring other melees up to par with TKA a long time ago.. been months.

What are you talking about!?! A pure TKM, with just the unarmed line in brawler having almost twice as much defense and toughness as a mater swordsman is completely balanced. Sheesh.

I've posted this before elsewhere, here it is again....

Fact- The Devs like doing global changes to abilities & similar classes. If you've been playing long enough, you'll know that this is true.

With that in mind, how would the Devs go about fixing all melee classes in the most efficient (least amount of coding and money spent) way? Simple, they choose one class to tweak and tweak until it is how they like it and then apply the changes that are common between that class and all the others TO the others. Now, look at all of the melee classes... Pikeman-action attacks, Swordsman-Mind, Fencer-Health, Teras Kasi-attacks all three pools via precision line. Look at it further, Teras Kasi doesn't require a weapon and therefore has a VERY static damage output that is totally unaffected by weapons. Now, you tell me... which class are the Devs going to work on first considering the above? I'm sorry if you feel neglected, I'm VERY sorry that my chosen profession (that I decided to master right after we were nerfed to near extinction by the knockdown "fix") has become a flavor of the month profession, and I'd really like to see more of youmelee weapon users out there having fun with me out in the field instead of complaining on the boards or after I trounce you in a duel.

As for us having the unarmed toughness being so high... we don't have (or should ever get) bleeds. You have an option tobleed and run if things get bad, TKA's either kill or get killed. And if you haven't noticed, fights with bleeds don't take nearly as long as fights without them.

So in conclusion... don't ask for TKA to be nerfed because you aren't feeling love; because any love you get is probably coming down from something TKA has.
