Thread: Massive damage output disparity Unarmed 1-4 vs pole,1h and 2h swords
Unarmed damage (without VK, circa 4.0spd) :70 pnts
Unarmed damage (with 1.5spd vk) = 67 pnt
1h curved sword damage (sliced, 2.0 spd) = 300 to 400 damage
2h curved sword damage (sliced, 2.2spd) = 400 to 500 damage
Vibrolance damage (sliced, 3.0 spd) = 450 to 600 damage
Whats wrong with this picture? I can understand the devs limiting the VK to teras kasi..it IS an awesome weapon... but look a the HUGE difference and horrid penalties they give the unarmed brawler.
I would ask the devs to leave the VK be for the Teras Kasi, but put in an unarmed weapon for the Brawlers. As it is now, pole, 1h and 2h all get practically double damage boost to their trees just by getting more powerful weapon certifications (for example, 1h sword goes from the survival knife doing the same 70pnts damage as unarmed to doing 300 to 400 damage in just ONE box!!!!)
How about giving TAILORS the ability to make a 'combat glove' ..

... anything that will give the unarmeds a boost in damage.... I acknoweldge that the 1h, 2h and polearm users should receive almost twice the damage that unarmed does..but let unarmed hit twice as fast in compensation (higher chances to miss too).

TKA is gimpiest
From Novice Elite and on.. All the others are gimps next to TKA
All i can say is.. cope.. Devs should of put the new +50 damage into the brawler tree if they really wnated to help.. (+5 at 1, +10 at 2, +15 at 3, +20 at 4 = +50)
