IM new so dont flame me to badly. Whats the benefit of becoming a master brawler over say just getting level 4 two handed and go on to be a swordsman?

With master brawler, you get to spend an extra 48 skill points and use a wide array of weapons as you get eye shot spammed by bounty hunters. One line of brawler should cover anyone, pretty much, though it would be really nice to see hybrid classes run off more than just unarmed. one off master brawler and one off each line would be great. Smugglers should go off one handed anyway, they use knives for a profession.

So you get more special moves by becoming a master brawler? But you can only use special moves with certain weapons right?

Yes, you can only use certain special moves with certain weapons. You basically become a master brawler for a feeling of accomplishment. Your saying, "I did it! In your face you stupid Devs/Marksman/Bounty Hunter/etc.!"

The benefits to Master Brawler are the additional defense and weapons mods , they do make a difference, plus the increased effectiveness of intimidate2 and warcry2 make it a must have box for anyone that wants to use melee as the primary method of combat. Granted at higher levels of the elite of your choice you may find that you don't use them as much but they make taking things much bigger than you a lot easier and more manageable. Intimidate2 sticks to the creature for like 2 minutes i think, never really timed it and warcry2 delays all actions from the creature for 20 seconds, berserk2 is not that useful, the damage output is the same as berserk1 only it lasts for like 2 minutes, that is just too long, i would rather it increase the damage output and last the same amount of time as berserk1. Also, the lunge2 moves that you get cause knockdown and have a range of like 15m. So, depending on your elite choice this box may be your only chance to have a knockdown move.

The master box will make the climb up your elite of choice a lot easier.

Well, those are my thoughts, back to work.

well imade master brawler for warcry 2 and intimidate as i pve most of my time. i agree they'rmore powerfullthan the novice special moves. it's still a shame they don't land more. i'm gonna go on and buy intimidate/warcry bio-cloth but i might drop Master if it's the same poor accuracy.

So intimidate2 and warcry2 doesn't change the chances of it landing on a creature? oh come on

It does actually. You get a +20 to Intimidate and Warycry at master brawler level. Get some bio-enhanced clothing and you can land an intimidate the majority of the time in PvE

If I had something really clever to say it would be in my signiture instead of this.

master brawler is nice for 3 reasons if you are planning on pvp -

1. lunge2 - 15m ranged knockdown

2. warcry2 - 20 sec delay

3. intim3 - debuff for 2-3min about

i have no regrets about taking it up.
