ALL BRAWLERS

Give all elite brawler professions the meditate tree. I see no reason that this should be TKA exclusive. Add this tree to all of them. Simply combind 2 of the trees of the other professions

TKA Dizzy/KD issue

When two TKAs fight it comes to who can dizzy KD fastest. Whoever does it first pretty much wins. MY SOLUTION: Make dizzy now make you fall when you change posture, make it make you fall down when you move more than 5m. This way, TKAs can fight without dizzy KD being an issue.

Pikeman = Teh Sux

Area damage, on most moves. Area bleed and area dizzy. They should be able to to have most of their moves do area damage, and even regular hits should have a 1/5 chance of doing area damage.

Fencer = Useless

Most fencer moves should have bleed attached to them. If you are being hit with a sword you are going to bleed.

Heavy Swordsman

They are pretty balanced, but I think headhit shouldn't ALWAYS have bleed. Kinda hard to defeat the warcry/bleed heavy swordsman. At least give people a chance to get a hit off before the bleed.

Take into account I am a 4/4/3/4 TKA so my views are not completely skewed.

Those are good Ideas for fixing the balancing issue. Here is why those good isea's won't be implemented. The DEV's are scared that there precious ranged skills will beaten by the brawlers. Why? Because if you balance and fix the brawlers then us brawlers will actually be able to use strategy to fight instead of the same two moves/or if your smart like me you use all your debuffs and then start attacking. all I can do now is feel out my opponent until I know what they are weak against. Bottomew line though....they don't wanna make us a balanced class so that ranged will always be dominate.

#1 - If you are comparing sub-Master Brawler with any of the elite skills...stop. You have not invested anywhere near enough time and effort into your character to compare.

#2 - Master Brawler vs most anyone else: warcry2, intimidate2, lunge2 (weapon of choice), onehanddizzy, unarmedstun, unarmedblind.

#3 - Learn how to instantly switch weapons/hotbars, /ui action toolbarPanexx is your friend.

As an ex-TKM, I repeatedly heard that TKM was overpowered. I now heartily disagree, as master brawler is one of the most powerful one-one professions I carry. As a master brawler, I can now powerlevel any of the other combat skill trees with near impunity. Last night, just for fun, I dueled a commando:
warcry2 (paralyze them for 20 seconds)
onehandlunge2 (KD-couldn't get it to stick)
onehanddizzy (couldn't get it to stick)
spent next 15 seconds chasing them around trying to get lunge2 to stick
warcry2 (they started shooting me)
warcry2 (didn't stick first time)
onehandlunge2 (KD'd)
onehanddizzy (they got up too quick)
I started taking damage about this point, wasn't using attacks very efficiently since it was just a friendly duel.
intimidate2
More chasing around the star port trying to lunge them.
onehanddizzy
onehandlunge2
warcry2 (just to keep em down)
2handhit2
2handhit2
...

You get the idea, once they started throwing specials that were hitting for 300+, only then did I pull out my powerhammer (I have 4 whole boxes of swordsman) and 2handhit2 them twice, which put them out.

The whole point of this post is that if you spend the time to master brawler, you have a WIDE variety of state effects AND the ability to paralyze your opponent almost indefinately. Yes, you have to close to melee range, but this is now, and hopefully always will be the drawback, of being a melee character. If you learn to use your multiple weapons and attacks well, you become a VERY powerful force whether in PvE or PvP.
