Brawler Archive

I am VERY close to becoming a MBH, which was my dream starting this game. However, my first holocron said "Master Swordsman" and it's also my dream to be a Jedi some day. Soooooo....once I get MBH I'll be starting on Swordsman.

From the Brawler angle, what is a good weapon to get to start progress through the 1-handed swords tree? Any other ideas or tips? Also, I'm on Chilastra - anybody know of any good weaponsmiths? Thanks.

From a former heavy swordsman and currently a master brawler, I can tell you that getting a good curved sword, sliced for speed andhigher base damageis the best way to go. You can blow though the brawler portion of 2hs in a matter of hours.

I would suggest staying with the curved sword until you are able to get battlemaster in heavy sword. Then get a clever and you will have few worries all the way to master sword.

heres what you need to do to blow through the first part of brawler..

1. get buffed-mind if poss too, if not buy a few crates of muon

2. Go solo pickets on dantooine..the first couple trees you will need to rely on your "real weps" BH in your case to take care of the pickets themselves, but use the melee weps to pull the lair. The lairs will be worth about 3-4k xp for ya each. Reapeat until you are all the way up the tree, eventually you will be able to use the swords on the pickets themselves but i found the xp to come a lot quicker when i used my flamer on the picckets to get them out of the way and used the melee weps on the lair..

3. repeat until you are done should only take a few hours..enjoy!

Brawler is so easy to master, even with the KD dizzy nerf. Just do as they said, doc buffs and mind food and drinks.
