Hey all, im Unarmed III, and i like to hunt on Dathomir because its good for CH exp, and, well, combat exp too. So, i go get some buffs, however i can never get minds buffs because the entertainers suck on Dathomir. So basically while im out fighting, rancors ravage my mind bar, and i dont know what to do. I get incapped 5 times a lair, and get killed very often. Then my 10,000cr buffs get destroyed, and i have to go again and get buffs, or i die even faster.

I looked around town for help, and people said to get a helmet. So i bought this 50% kinetic ubese armor off someone for 4,000cr (it is in HORRIBLE condition though) and it doesnt seem to help too much. It does a little, but it brings my Focus and Willpower down to the low 100s.

My health and action are fine, but i dont know what to do about my mind problem. Are there foods i should buy to replenish it? I have a ton of Muon Gold, but when the side effects come along, i basically die.

Any tips? (i have a little under 200k cr, and am trying to save up for later in the game...so im not looking forward to buying really expensive stuff, but if thats what it takes to become a great TKA / CH, then ill do it)

If you are gonna get doctor buffs, then you should just put most of your stat points into mind, focus, and willpower.

The helmet coupled with food that raises your mind stats should alleviate that problem. Vasarian Brandy, Canape, and Fishak are all good choices in that department. Or you could get musician/dancer buffs in Theed or another heavily populated city.

Well, I stayed on Tatooine until I got Novice TK and went up to master on Dantooine. Try the Dantooine Mining Outpost. There are a lot of medics/entertainers there.

Vasarian Brandy gives a +500 to each mind stats. you can add a Musician and Dancer buff to that.

Does the food have side effects like spices do?

No, food is FDA approved to be 100% beneficial with no unpleasant side effects.

This is whats wrong with the game. You are giving advise on how someone working on Unarmed 3 can fight Rancors.

It cost's so much because it's more expensive to make than doctor buffs. A mind is a terrible thing to waste after all.

But anyway - anyone want to tip me a few creds, this brandy is 200k for like 20 glasses!

How long does the brandy effects last?

I met up with a person who can mind buff, but it takes 20 minutes to get buffed, and she was charging 10k (i paid 5k tho..) and thats expensive, because i can get my other 6 stats buffed for that much.

yeah i am real new to the game . i need help in tryin to move up on the charts i am on tat tryin to do it and it feels like it is takin me forever and i got my buffs but my mind drops if someone can please teach me how to do the right ting i would love them forever and help them if they ever need it thanks
