I am a master brawler and pretty well up in 2 hand weapons. AnytimeI duel a flamethrower if i land Warcry i almost always win. However if I miss warcry I always lose. So is a nerf necessary no. Now after I warcry I am going to have to not hit the target and hope someone else does or else once I hit my target it will flame me and win. Am I saying to nerf Flamethrowers. NO. I think the fair alternative would be leave both as they are but offer some defense vs. warcry and or food modifiers to help against warcry. These bonuses should be part of melee defenses gained by being a marksmen. While I'm posting I have been meaning to put my 2 credits worth in about the "God Templates." Sure I don't have a god template however nerfing defenses is a terrible idea. If I can't use 1 tree from here and 1 tree from there why is tehre a Skill Point System. If you can't use the mods from other professions then I would like to be able to Master all professions. It won't make me any better at any one thing. When Devs defend the Skill Point system they say it is so you can decide what skills and bonuses you want. If you want to be a Weaponsmith Rifleman then go right ahead, but be expected to be beat by someone who spent all of there Points on combat. So either allow Mod Stocking or eliminate all SP system. Well CenterOfBeing certainly helps against ranged attackers. Not that it works for a TKA.
Blah this is silly, warcry has been overpowered for a long time. If you really dont see that you must have blinders on.
20 seconds in PvP is a lifetime, having someone stall you from doing anything for 20 seconds is ridiculous.
Right when I find out how useful Warcry is, it's nerfed. I already have a KD/Dizzy, so Brawler is useless. All this patch did was give me more skill points to use now that I don't have brawler anymore.
20 seconds is too long, all they had to do was slice the times in half. Now there is no incentive for Mastering it.
btw, if you "crowd control" a group of people, and some other guy attacks someone who was warcried, does that mean he can go back to kicking the crap outta me again? Or did that come out weird?
