Everyone complains about how hard Novice Brawler to Novice Teras Kasi Artist is. Well, I would just like to say I picked up Novice Brawler today, and within 5 hours I was a Novice Teras Kasi. Here's what I did for those that are interested:

Unarmed I: Ikilled one (non-mission) Worrt Lair outside Bestine, cake.

Unarmed II:(started using 1.5 speed VKs) Ran missions out of Bestine and killed stuff on the way.

Unarmed III: Same as above, only higher difficulty missions.

Unarmed IV: Ok, here's where the fun starts. Expecting this to be harder than it was, I got buffed and took some full 80% Composite and some +400 Brandy and flew to the Pirate Outpost on Dantooine. Once there, I started running Quenker missions. I would only let one of the two agro me at a time, Stun/Blind/Intimidate and then Berserk. However, I soon realized that the only piece of armor I really needed was the Chest plate, so I took everything else off. I was only on one Brandy, with no helmet (and I'm a Rodian so my Mind stats are 900/450/450) and never got incapped once. When two of them would agro me, I'd just Stun/Intimidate them both and just Berserk away on one at a time.

Novice Teras Kasi: Same as above, only I was doing it much faster as I got better at it and since I had better Damge/Speed at that point. Just remeber to use Berserk on the Lair and after inflicting the Stun/Blind/Intimidate. In under 5 hours of play I went from llitterally 0 Unarmed XP to Novice TKA. Good luck guys.

I would imagine the ones that are complaining are more new charcters who cant just go out and buy 80% comp or ubese armor yet or brandy. Also can do it quicker if you dont try to do the dant misson until after novice. I would say 0 unarmed to novice tka in 2-3 hours if you can afford the armor (maybe buffs).

Mastered TKA, Commando, Marksman, Medic, Scout, Brawler, Image Designer, Combat Medic, Fencer....,
How many skills mastered for a holo? 1 : Image designer... then all was silent
How many skills will be done for FS now? Zero (Just to lazy to grind only for a chance it might be the fifth one)
Currently: Bladesmaster, Master Scout

Damn...Took me ages to get through unarmed 1 -4, How stupid am I?

Anyway, just so I know in future, where do they hand out these suits of 80% Comp and Docs Buff for free? Food/Drink buffs were weak then so I guess I should have looked for someone handing out crates of MG as well, but if they are now handing out free brandy too, I'm up for some of that...Me being a dumb arse I keep buying mine.

Do you have to give the armour and stuff back once your done or can you keep it?

hehe, I feel your pain... I did it way back when.. sadly wearing bone armor (that I made myself lol) till I noticed quickly it didnt help at all, but I still liked the look.... one advantage I did have then though that made a big difference is vibro knucklers didnt have cert, and a friend working same skills. I also got lucky and ran into the right ppl on hunts in different spots, I honest cant say how long it took to get to tka novice at that time but.... I'll say it was most likely over a week since I messed around. Just to make sure there is no confusion, I'm not calling anyone dum. Just stated what can be done with armor and buffs, Not everyone can afford or find these items off the bat... Even I was lucky... I payed for a good ubese suit which is mostly gone (@#$@ armor repair) and got a discount with the guild, yet I cant afford a good full suit of comp (But I did win a suit of comp in a raffle.. Mwaha). Also when I said new charcter I wasnt speaking on anyones level of exp. but the charcters age starting off with a few creds and running low paying missons isnt going to get a good suit without hours of bore (lack of friends doesnt help either)!.. =D

Yea...i dont want to sound like a grumpy old man..but..
When i got TKM it took me forever...no money..very few med skills.
and TKM was my first mastered profession.
I lived on Dantoonie doing Hurrtons and Pikets.
all these ppl jumping on the TKA wagon..can usually buy buffs and armor..so you will get it mastered in HALF the time.
