Hi, I am an Expert Weaponsmith working my way up the melee tree and should have the last box in a day. What weapons do you guys want most and what is a far price?

High-end Vibro Knucklers. I'm tired of seeing cheesy 7-59 3.3 knucklers.

I second that Motion, Vibro Knucklers are the weapon of choice. A fair price would be 2500, for a good Knuckler. What's your Characters name? I would be nice to put you on a friend list!

mmmm Ok, people want VKs. But I am on Expert Melee and have lots of other melee weapons I can make. Do you guys not want any of the other swords or others?

The problem with the polearm tree is that Brawlers get the cert for long vibro axe at expert polearm and vibro lance at novice pikeman, but weaponsmiths get the ability to build these two weapons the other way around (vibro lance at tier 4 and long axe at master). This leaves many polearm users stuck with lances right up until Novice Pikeman. A weaponsmith selling long axes could probably do quite well...

Basically the state of brawlers in regards to weapons is this.

Unarmed just want strong VKs. No real news there.

Best weapon for 1 hand sword is a decent curved sword. Rykk blades don't come out so well, and stun batons are horrible. Rantoks, which would definitely come out incredible if crafted, cannot be made.

2 hand sword users like vibro axes and curved swords. There doesn't seem to be a huge leap between the two as yet, although this could change as weaponsmiths experiment more with the two items.

And as I said before, until they reach pikeman, polearm users all want good lances. The low min damage on most polearms hurt more then the max damage, and until the certs in the weaponsmith tree gets fixed, anyone offering lances with a smaller damage range would be most welcome.

Thanks Jaye. I will start making long axes, curved swords, vibro axes, lances, and VKs. I should be Master Weaponsmith by next week.

I'm a 1 handed swordman and like the Gaderiffi Baton over a curved sword, I'm trying a Ryyk Sword but find the HAM cost to high. But each Swordman would likely give a deferent answer. I would suggest work on getting the HAM cost down if your doing Ryyk swords, and increasing damage if your working on Daggers, Gaderiffi Batons or Vibroblades. HAM cost of special moves is big issue right now so if you could make weapon with a low cost that would be great, and be sure to tell your customers about it. a lot of player will only look at the damage and/or speed

Honestly, make them all. I'd like to be able to compare and contrast different weapons of the same type, to pick the one that best suits my play style. I've been doing fine with my 44-109 reinforced combat staff so far, as it has low action costs. If you could make a polearm that does about the same or slightly better damage, but faster/cheaper, I'd definitely be interested in it.

By the way experimenting has almost no effect on HAM cost for any weapon. If I put all 9 points into it the best I can hope for is a 9 point reduction but 9 points in Damage has a Great effect.
