It is common knowledge that all brawler professions are totally owned by all marksmen professions in player-versus-player combat for the simple reason that we cannot defeat their Run & Gun tactics. We cannot attack on the run and we have to be closer than 5 meters from our enemy to fight back. Unless a marksmen is asleep at the keyboard, or careless enough to enter our very small combat range, we have no chance of winning a PvP fight.

It seems the general consensus feels that "all brawling professions should not have a fair chance to win in PvP because it defeats therealism (in a computer game based on a science fiction/fantasy movie???)of a gun versus melee fight in real life", and that "Melee classes should not even be in SWG because there is no and/or little documentation to support their existence in the Star Wars galaxy".

In fact, in various threads, many have expressed the sentiments that PvP should not be balanced and fair for all combat classes, and that brawler professions should just accept that they have a zero percent chance of winning against a marksman profession in PvP.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I do not enjoy playing unbalanced games that offer me a zero percent chance of winning. Nor do I find it fun to win one-hundred percent of the time, or to lose one-hundred percent of the time.

Again, please make your voice heard in favor of PvP balance for all Brawler Professions in this Developer's Tracker topic that has the attention of the SWG developers.

Thank you!
