Thread: is it possible to make a brawler/artisan hybrid?

i haven't created a character yet, but what i want to do is make a master brawler and weaponsmith hybrid. Would this even be possible? If so, any suggestions as to which race i should pick?

I reached Master Dancer first, then took up Brawling as a combat skill.
I did some playing around on the Character Creator, and find that with the skill points invested in Dancing (probably equal to a Master Weaponsmith in points, I think), I have enough skill points left to have my novice medic (for stim paks), some scouting to run faster and harvest my kills, plus a climb up the Unarmed tree to reach Teras Kasi -- I can become a Teras Kasi Master and, with my other skills, have 1 or 2 points left over, but I cannot be a Master Brawler AND a Master TK without giving up some of my dancing skills. I've chosen to not pursue any of the melee weapons ladders.
You have choices you'll have to make. I didn't look at the requirements if I just went for Master Brawler but I doubt I could make the points stretch since the lower tier of Brawling is so expensive. Check the character creator and see what you can do.

I am currently working through becoming a master brawler and a weaponsmith myself and so far it seems to work well. I haven't gotten to weaponsmith yet because its a little moring to grind away at creating things to get the experience necessary for it so I have been working on my master brawler but hope to have both of them soon!
