Brawler Archive

I'm a master brawler and novice pikeman and I don't like how the brawler class doesn't lead to any new unique professions. Master marksman lets you become a bounty hunter or commando but master brawler leads to nothing. Sure unarmed is required for commando and smuggler but those aren't brawler professions; smuggler is a pistol profession and for commando you have to be a master marksman. I don't have enough skill points to learn all brawler and all marksman skills unless I want to do nothing else. I think there should be a brawler bounty hunter and a marksman bounty hunter. The brawler bounty hunter could go farther up two brawler weapons like marksman go up carbine and pistol. I would also like to be a squad leader but you have to go up ranged support to do that. I can't use all my combat exp on that or I wouldn't be able to go up pikeman support which, trust me, that additional accuracy is very needed.

So they should expand on what a brawler can become not only because it would make the brawler profession more exciting but it would also add more diversity to the game.

Umm has I recall brawler leads to Teras Kasi and thats a pretty good profession.

I agree. It sucks that there isn't something like Combat Master which is like an advanced extension of Brawler. Master Brawler gives you some decent special abilities but the bottomline is it's just a dead end. It's hard to justify so many points knowing it just won't go anywhere.

Yes, unarmed leads to Teras Kasi, One-hand leads to Fencer, Two-hand leads to Swordsman but Rifle leads to rifleman, Carbine leads to carbineer, and pistol leads to pistoleer. So all weapons lead to specialization of itself, but marksmen weapons leads to more as well such as smuggler, commando, squad leader, commando... and brawler doesn't.

Really I dont think "they" ever intended for anyone just to be happy w/ being a "master brawler". Or being able to take the Master Brawler into a Hybrid class.

If I can recall, great emphasis was put on looking ahead at your chosen profession so that once you hit a certain point you wouldn't be in such a "OMG" state.

You my friend will have to do some serious soul searching as it sounds like you are max'd out on skill points.
