Thread: Why can't unarmed brawler get easy missions like a marksman can?

just grab a weapon you don't use (cdef rifle/carbine, whatever) and equip that when choosing missions.

There you go, nice easy missions.

Or don't be grouped when you're grabbing missions....

It doesn't matter what the creature cons to your group, if you're the only one it's hitting, and it's normally a yellow con to you--you ARE going to get pounded. Use the Run-The-Heck away ability and let your droid and marksmen buddy take some punishment, while you heal yourself. Also, i think you should Berserk when first attacking 1 NPC--you'll get more damage in before you have to run away with your tail between your legs.

I have a friend who's a marksman, has no brawler at all. I'm a brawler, unarmed 3. We go to get rebel missions together, and if he unequips his rifle, he can get ones at difficulty 5. I however can't ever get anything less than a 9, even with no VK equipped.

What's the deal? And why are these 9's so dang hard? I have a sweet pair of VK, a Probot, and my friend has level 3 in all the ranged weapons. Yet we can't seem to complete a level 9 mission (that I am supposedly supposed to do by myself, since it's the lowest I can get) without one of us getting incapped (usually me).

Why does an Imp that cons white to me when grouped and VK equipped, knock me on my ass in a few hits, when I can barely scratch them? We had one that was supposed to be a 9, and he conned yellow. He DB both of us and broke my droid. How is this a fair mission?

However, the level 5's that my friend can get usually is like one guy white con, or two blues. No problem. But I can't get them for some reason.

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually being ungrouped doesn't seem to matter. I never thought of the fact that grabbing a pistol would have the same effect as "unarming" my unarmed brawler Good idea. Stupid mission system.

I load up my highest weapon before the missions. I know some people do them mainly for the money, but presently if I pick the right mobs, I get great cash and good solo training points for the right missions. Getting about lvl 10 -11 difficulty ones now outside of Mos Eisley.

Hmm...no wonder I was getting my a$$ handed to me in all my solo missions ...

I'll try it the next time around, thanks for the good pointers.

Oh-oh, we found a fix, be careful they might nerf it!!! I know that was uncalled for, but brawlers are getting the short end, and it's frustrating. I pay yearly for this game, and I love hand to hand combat, it looks so cool, i think we deserve a bit more attention as far as our abilities in battle go.
