Thread: Ranged attacks should out range melee's
a LLC does definitly too much damage with its specials to increase the range .... they are kinda finishing moves. And what if his KD didnt workwhen hes on the way to u ... he's done for because of ure overpowered lighting single 2 ....if its works ure done for . u dont have to use these specials and u got the ability to stay outa range but without the overpowered lighting single 2 . and u got a ranged knockdown too ... i never saw a brawler using unarmed lunge 2 with his back in the dirt .
Melee Fighters should cause massive amounts of damage if they can get close to you and they should be able to knock you down if they get close to you. The key phrase is "if they can get close to you". There are antikite macros for those of you think that is unfair, but there is something much more unfair when my almost master bounty hunter gets knocked over from such a range to where I can't use my light lighting cannon special. They should either nerf the range for melee or extend the range for ranged fighters.
Or you could get a clue, use another gun, apply a fire knockdown learn some tactics and be quiet.
If that doesn't work you can just keep complaining.

Ranged does out-range melee, whether you believe it or not. So you have your wish.Melee range is 20m max, with a little server-client padding here and there sometimes. Blaster/rifle/pistol/etc range is up to 64m. Personally, I don't think you should have ranged KD at all, if you want to lower melee range from the 10m it is now for specials back to 3-5m, you should lose your ranged KD. Laser blasts aren't knocking anyone down, they're not concussive.

I couldn't use my llc2 special i think that distance is like 16 not 20, but I could be wrong. Some have said that it could have been lag.
