Howdy -

Newb Brawler here, I'm looking for a macro that'll let me switch from a gun to unarmed combat. I'm using the "/ui action toolbarPanexx, and /ui action toolbarSlotxx" comands, but I can't get my character to to to unarmed. Any help?

wouldnt it just be easier to put your gun in the tool bar, and when you wanted to switch from armed/unarmed just press the function key associated with it?

ie. gun in f10 slot, press f10 to arm, or disarm.

Yeah that would work, but this system allows me to switch my entire function buttons to the appropriate section. Meaning that I can have all of my Rifle buttons available, and by hitting one function button, I have all of my unarmed buttons available.

Ok, U got me thinking. I've set up the macro like this (where Pane1 = Rifle and my gun is in slot 23, and Pane2 = unarmed)

/ui action toolbarSlot23; (this de-activates my weapon b4 switching)
/ui action toolbarPane02

This works fine, but I'm still currious if there's a comand that allows U to go unarmed. Anyone know?

I did this by putting something useless -- like a CDEF pistol -- in a slot on my unarmed commands pane. So my macro for changing from armed to unarmed looks something like this:

/ui action toolbarPaneXX
/ui action toolbarSlot12
// --swaps whatever weapon I have armed with theCDEF Pistol in slot 13
/pause 1
