Just wondering cause i was using it in the tuskan fort last night and every time i used it with 3-4 guys in front of me it only gave me the message that it was freezing my target and noone else. I thoght it was supposed to have a cone effect, am i wrong?

Its a cone and a rather crappy one at that. Panic shot is more powerful in my opinion.

It's a very narrow cone. I also believe that it's similar to HW weapon type specials in that the range to the original target is around 15m or so, but the effects then stretch out behind them to considerably farther. However, I have yet to be aggro'd by something just because it got delayed.

Well, narrow cone or not...i like WC2.
Myself and the other 2 MBs in my PA all compete on how many people/creatures we can get in a single WC. The most I have ever delayed in one cry was 5. It is like a rescue when you have a large group and a single person freezes almost every MoB in the nest for 20 seconds. Some times it is the salvation that a weaker ranged person needs to get the MoB out to the deadly range they need them.

To get a lot of bang for your buck out of warcry, grab some aggro and run backwards while warcrying. The critters will often line up to follow you and you can get them all in one cone. Also, the range of the cone seems to be larger than the range of warcry. I.e. you might just barely be in range for target X, but you will still get Y and Z that might be 10 meters behind him.

yea, it seems to be a very narrow cone. I usually get more than one creature when they are right behind each other, or VERY close.
By the way, I LOVE WC2. I always get people asking me what I'm doing when I use a lunge2 then WC2 to leave the mob (or person) on the ground for 20 seconds.
