Well, I played as both a bounty hunter and a commando. The bounty hunter is good because it takes so many skill points. You have less points to dabble with, so the profession has to have more in it than, lets say pistoleer.
Commando is also godlike in pve for one reason. Their weapons do a lot of damage, but the specials timer issatanic! For example, at flamethrower 1, you get the special flame single. This lets you do 4k + damage and a 1500+ fire dot.Thisis a verypowerful attack. However, it is about a 11 - 13 second gapbefore you can use another special or default attack. Also, you can't attack AT ALL, even with a different weapon, during this time.
Now, brawlers. When we started, we knew that range was going tobe our weakness. We accepted that. Since we have range as a weakness, get us within 20 meters and we WILL kill you.If you want to win against rangedopponents, you need to fight smart and use your specials wisely.

I think brawlers stats should be better because it is cheap that pistols you can run and shoot. I think brawler weapons should go up in speed or damage. Maybe make some of the weapons in brawler heavy armor piercing since you use more power than a gun here are weapon stats i have thought of. For a power hammer heavy armor piercing every thing else stays the same. 2.2 speed 500 damage. 5.0 speed 1750 damage. Who agrees with me post an article saying you agree with me cause marksman and bounty hunters and commando are just plain cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kiting someone with marksman isn't cheap, it's smart. I'm speaking not from a marksman perspective, but from an ex-Teras Kasi Master and current 3333 Brawler one. If you catch a marksman at point blank range, you will be victorious provided you are as smart as he is and neither of you have significantly better equipment.
However what you must accept by choosing this profession, is that someone with a gun will kill you a lot faster then someone with their bare hands will. Even at point blank a gun will realisticly be a big advantage. A brawler is by nature weaker in combat then someone with a gun. In return we have more fun. Instead of spamming overchargeshot1 and bodyshot1 and waiting, we have 5 useful special moves per tree and a much better variety of default attacks. It's an opinion of course, but I take much more pride in a victory when it was a very close melee fight then if I shoot something down from 50m and it dies. I've been a Master Marksman for the hell of it and didn't enjoy it half as much as unarmed Brawling, let alone the wonder that is Teras Kasi Artist.
We are weaker yes, that's what we brawlers accept to be true. But we have more fun and can take more pride and honour in our victory. There is no honour in kiting someone (nor dishonour, it is simply a smart thing to do) but there is honour in being victorious over a stronger opponent, and courage (some call it idiocy
) for standing your ground when you realise you will in turn be defeated. A ranged attacker can burst run when they are almost down, I'd rather die and save my honour as a melee warrior.

I have to disagree GT
Kiting is very cheap and very cowardly!!!
Staying out of our attack range just to win ITS CHEAP!!!

LMAO... do u really expect someone with little or no melee skills (someone who is full fledged Marksman or BH) to stand there and LET u pound them?If u don't want them to kite you, then get Master Brawler and use one of the Lunge2 moves (which has a range of 15m). lol I can't believe. I have no ranged skills at all, but if I were a ranged person and I saw a Master Swordsman with a big-ass Power Hammer running at me, I'd sure as hell run/kite too.

Yes but that does not make kiting any less cheap
I mean how is it fair that they can run away and make our moves useless???
all ranged are cowards
and let me say this
a gun is a cowards weapon

I am Teras Kasi Master/Master Brawler. I have no problem with kiters. It's all about tactics, man. With good tactics all those BH and pistoleers pwning you will be screaming to nerf you. Happens to me almost every day.
