Ok guys,

I am going to be blunt so forgive me in advance.

Unarmed 4 is a joke!

I got unarmed 1 to 3 in less then an hour by using bleed shot and kiting cu pa's on tattooine.

litterally had unarmed 1 after killing 3 cu pa's in 5 minutes, unarmed 2 took about 15 minutes, and unarmed 3 was about 30 minutes.

Have been hammering away at mobs for about six hours and only have 1/2 the xp for unarmed 4.

Before you reply....

NO - I dont have a pet.

NO - I do not know a master doc or master TKA to help me out

NO - I can not afford buffs or uber armor

NO - I don't want to go to a planet where everything wants to eat me alive (lets face it without the above you get killed fast)

Sorry but every post on here about unarmed 4 says the same thing, get buffed, get armor, get a pet, get vibro knuckled, and read other posts.

At unarmed 3 I can solo a giant mountain wort (tattooine) for about 800 xp - but it kills my ham and I have to spend time sitting and waiting to heal up - if use stim b's to heal my health and action I end up waiting an eternity for my mind pool to come back up.

I have tried the "bleed and run method" (bleed shot and hit them once, and run around till they die) but doing this on anything with decient xp takes forever for them to die. Seems I can get XP faster killing lower lvl mobs (like diseased bobcats for 250 xp they die in about 2 hits)

Ihave read all the other posts about people getting unarmed 4 super fast - all i want to know is this...

Is there any way for an average joe that is flat broke to get it fast too?

Heres what i did.

Went to Dantooine and got any high paying missions my buddy and i could without disease, like Pickets and Voritor Hunters. We'd kill all the critters with weapons and then take the nests unarmed. (got like 3k xp per nest) -not bad.

Using ranged weapons first will allow you to get xp fast with out "buffs or uber armor".

if you think unarmed 4 is hard. try doing the tka combo with comando. getting novice isn't easy

get yourself a vibro blade for the speed. yes i know you are not certified but it WILL add speed. mountain worts are the best i have found for xp. just keep popping the frogs and you will level. that's how i did it and the advice was given to me from one of the best TKM's i knew. good luck to you : )

I was in the same position myself and to make it worse, I am a bothan. But whatever. The best things to hunt imo are crazed durnis on corellia. I hate to break it to you, but there is no secret way to getting uaIV really quickly. It took me weeks (im a casual gamer) so the best advice I can give you is stick with it. I know its frustrating but theres nothing else I can tell you.

If you cannot get armor, Doc buffs or Chef buffs then the DEFINITIVE answer is Hell no. Those are your only short cuts. Can't get em...then you will have a long row to hoe.

Don't bother looking at what you need to go from Unarmed 4 to Novice TKA either.

I have to agree, you might as well just quit now if you aren't going to get Doctor's buff,Kinetic resist armor,etc.

Getting Novice TKA will be too tough of a road for you. Quit now is my best advice.

First off, the previous post is dead wrong. I was in the same boat. Solo, no money, no armor(wookie). Unarmed 4 took me a week to complete and I did Giant Worrts on Tatoooine. BUT, once you hit Unarmed 4, Lesser Plains Bols on Dantooine are CAKE. Its still a lot of xp, but I got from Unarmed 4 to Novice TKA in 1 day. About 7 to 8 hours(Saturday and the kid/wife was gone)of running those missions from the Pirates Outpost.

They are soloable because they are not social. *Hint* DO NOT attack the Lesser Plains Bol(Scout) first. =) He will run back to the lair and all of them will come attack you. Attack all the others first than finish with the (scout).

Word of advice. Crank up your Focus/Willpower and use those Stim Bs. Do not use specials. Spam Berserk, it is your best friend until Novice TKA. Also, I didnt have money either, but I could afford a VK not too long into Unarmed 4. Even a not very good one will increase your speed and allow you to kill things much faster with Berserk.

If you have any more questions, dont let the naysayers get you down. Ask away. Unarmed 4 is TOUGH and novice TKA is TOUGH, but be glad they are. Once you hit Novice, you will be loving life. Good luck mate.

4 is a joke only because they buffed you novices to 70 instead of 30, which is like having 3 boxes of that in the old prepatch. So yes, its a joke to you, but back before all the newbs and dabblers spammed tka, you had to go the power route first, or you couldnt do reasonable damage to kill anything. Now I see pikets getting killed by 0110 TKAs. Why? KD ups your damage. And with the dizzy at the first box you can likely kd dizzy an npc and kill it for more xp than you deserve. The solution? read my signature. That way everyones happy aside from the soon to be dabblers, or FotMs
