haven't done CM myself, but it appears to be a support profession, useful alone but not as useful as a full combat one. The dilemma is that an elite support prof rivals a novice combat prof in usefulness. CM is far superior in PvP because you can mind poison/disease them and find cover while they go down to 1 mind without a way to regenerate or heal it unless they're a CM themselves. No armour can go up against a CM.

Brawler in PvP appears useful with lunge2 and warcry2, but those moves fail to go off about 60% of the time. I duelled someone last night, failed 3 lunges and a warcry before he finally fell to the ground. He then proceeded to get up and was out of range at all times from there.

In PvE I honestly can't say how useful CM is, perhaps someone else can enlighten you there. I do know that when a lunge2-warcry2 combo does go off, it's good enough to take out animals in the high mid-levels of the scale. Ive got a 81-250 @ 1.7 two handed curved sword that makes me as fast and devastating as a low to mid-level TKA in default attacks.

i beg to differ, my warcry 2 is sucessul 9/10 timesi n pvp, but i have BE enhanced clothes that add +15 to warcry +15 to intimidate on my shirt, +16 to both on my sunguard, and +14 to both on my bandoleer, oh and +15 to both on my pants, it probably maxed out at some point, but i got a total of +80 warcry (20 from mast brawler, 60 from BE clothes), and +80 intimidate, these rarely fail, now with the KD? i rarely need to use it , but if u intimidate 2 them first, then warcry 2, the KD does work a lot more because intimidation cancels out their KD defense while they are intimidated

Actually, you are maxxing out with your clothing. The highest bonus you can get from all of your clothing is +25 total for each skill. e.g.: +25 for Warcry. Even though you are wearing +60 warcry worth of clothing, and it does say +80 in your skills, you're effectively only using +45 (20 from skill + 25 from clothing).
Hope that helps.

CM is not a dabble friendly profession, as you need 2/x/x/x to apply any type of disease, andCM meds have fairly high med use.you're probably better off getting master brawler for the KD and warcry2.

did the master combat medic thing and didnt like it. really dont like it if you dont have ranged such as rifle hit their mind when they are running away with that 1/xxxx mind left. as a master swordsman it made it hard to chase them and get them down. combat medic to me works better as a support role for a ranged profession. now master brawler is just amazing the bonues you get with intim2 and warcry2. like others said get the bio clothes to max the advantage.

My alt character is a master cm. The strategy is completely different. If you want to master combat medic, then make yourself a human, dont wear armor, and prepare to die a lot. He is for base defense only. He is very effective at it and in humanoid PvE in caves.......
