Thread: Which species best for Brawler

i'm starting to wonder which species is best for brawler. I think the trandoshans and the wookiees r a good bet, whats ur advice about this?
PS-Which weapon is best for primary or in other words what weapon should i start getting xp first?

I think Transdoshan and Zabrak are 2 of the best. But i could tell you races honestly dont matter because i seen every race do the brawler profession.One thing you might wanna think about is armor and which species can wear it. As of this moment i think wookies cannot where any but the others like human, zabrak, transdoshans, rodians are most popular due to this fact. As far as weapons i would get a pair of vibro knucklers for unarmed xp, the reason i say this is because the other trees lead to fencer, swordsman, or pikeman. If you get unarmed xp you can go commando which is very powerful against creatures, smuggler which is good for the galactic wars, and TKA which is what i believe the most powerful profession on the game. Its your pick but if it was me starting brawler i would master unarmed first but unarmed xp is harder to get then the weapons tree.

If I was to do it all over again I'd pick human. My character now is a Zabrak. Before they messed with stat migration I thought it was good, but now since humans have more flexibility moving stats around I'd go human all the way. Yea there are some defense bonuses and equalibrium with Zabrak but the ability to move stats around I think far outweighs those bonuses. Just my 2 cents.

Zabrak for one reason Equilibrium. While you are buffed and stuff is jacking up your mind and youve used all the food and muon and this Nightsister stalker is hitting you with a stun baton totally avoiding your helmet armor youll love equilibrium. Also you get several bonus to Mod type attacks.
Exception to that would be a trando TKA, especially if you are planing to harvest orgs. Unless you are playing TKA I would never pick a trando due to Armor restrictions. Wookies NEVER use a wook if you want to solo anything tough.
Honorable mentions to Mon Cal for the fact you can put so much into mind.
Honorable mention to Rodian for weapon mods and blind defese but overall mind ham is too low.
Human is just a weak Zabrak that can put a lil more into mind. Other stats do not matter, you should always be buffed anyways. If you arent buffed and you play Swordsmen, Fencer, or Pike you will just kill yourself with the ham from the weapons.

Twi'lek not bad for fencer and high ham action type weapons, but again Im always buffed so doesnt help me.
For me Trando = TKA Zabrak #1 Mon Cal #2 Rodian or Human #3 for all other 3 brawler classes. Even though I am not a human fan its acces to high mind stats are nice. Othere than that Id stay away from other. races.

once you hit master tka, trandoshans have no advantage over any other race as far as damage. everyone caps at 250 for unarmed damage. they do have an easier time getting there though.
both my toons are humans. they do have the most flexibility. and yeah, zabraks are nice for vitalize and equillibrium. those 2 innate abilities can save your hide when the going gets rough.
